We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was worried about the food because there is only restaurant open for every meal and my husband is extremely picky, but we both loved every meal. The decor and ambiance are so unique, it was totally different than anywhere I've...

We spent three nights at Maruba before going to San Pedro for the beach. This place was definitely unique and unlike anything we had experienced in the past. - The service was exceptional. Melony (the owner) is always around and whenever she sees you she stops to ask if you need anything. All of the other wait staff was wonderful...

We went here a day after new years which was a holiday in Belize..got there around 4 and was told if we wanted to eat we need to hurry bc they were closing 5pm since it was a holiday and they only catered to their resort guest after 5pm. We decided to stay even though it was evident they preferred...

I have some really special memories from our three nights here and would definitely recommend booking. Melanie is a great host and is always there when you need her. She was there to greet us and walked us to our transport to the airport when we left. She and her son showed up on Christmas Eve at our door with...

This place is a hidden treasure. The service was excellent and the food portions are huge. If you are into trying new things, ask for the viper rum shots. Its a fun experience. Also try to make time for the spa and beautiful pool. The journey there on the half paved roads are absolutely worth it when you get there.

We traveled to Maruba at the end of August/ beginning of September of this year. We had the most amazing experience from start to finish. The resort is very calming, the rooms, food, and grounds all very conducive to relaxation. I initially was a little unsure about having to eat all of the meals at the same restaurant everyday. I...

We enjoyed the staff and excursions in this little tucked away jungle themed resort. If you are used to hotel vacations than be prepared that this will be a little different. I was in a little bit of shock upon arrival since I am a little spoiled to hotel style vacations, but after getting to know the place I was...

Just to start by saying Hurricane Earl had just ripped through and the resort was open! Obviously lots of work had been done to tidy up the grounds. The rooms were clean but rather dark and not very comfy beds. (we had a bat in our room which I was able to encourage out before we fell asleep!) However the...

Maruba Resort Jungla Spa is fully operational after receiving a direct hit from Hurricane Earl. The staff did a great job of cleaning up and getting the resort set back up the morning after the storm so there was little evidence of what occurred less than 24 hours before despite electricity and Internet disruptions. Guests were enjoying the facilities. The...
