The Maruba is a very unique get-away. It's at least a 45- 60 minute drive to any sight-seeing or other dining. The rooms are very different but over an inch of space under the exterior doors... perhaps this is why we found a poisonous snake...More

You can easily arrange trips like you are interested in with the staff. Just be aware that this resort is a fair distance inland from the cayes. The blue hole would be an entire day or longer and relatively expensive.

I agree with the previous answers. The resort is clean. There is an outdoor tub in the spa, definitely an experience. The resort is in a jungle, so keep that in mind. I stayed in a suite, and there were little lizards around... More
