We found the Happy Guest House to be a very good decision. It's in a quiet area, but still not too far from town centre, about 10 minutes walk. We had a very warm welcome, they gave as a lot of information about how to get around in angkor, and what it would cost. they also advised us that we...

Happy Guesthouse is truly a home away from home, I appreciate the warm welcome this guesthouse gave us. They offer basic service and never expect 3-5 star accommodation, this is simply a family owned business who let you experience a Khmer hospitality. We stayed at their deluxe AC twin room which is $11 per night/good for 2 (FEB2013), equipped with...

We stayed at Happy GuestHouse for 5 nights in march 2016 and it was a great place for relaxing after an exhausting day climbing steps at Angkor. We stayed in a private double bed room with AC and it was clean and definitely worth 12 $ per night. The food and the service were really good and everyone working at...

Had a pleasant stay here and for the price, we were pleased- however, the place feels a little outdated. Wifi is only available in the communal areas and the shower didn't produce any hot water over 3 days - not major issues but just makes your stay a little more basic. Staff are very friendly and accommodating but in the...

These people have been playing music so loud that no one in the neighborhood can sleep. Many of us are angry enough to have to find a new place to live. Their behavior is that of drunken children. I doubt that you can sleep at this noisy place. Those of us who live a block away cannot sleep because of...

A decent sized clean room with a fan and a very clean private bathroom, all this for only USD3 a night! The staff is very helpful, and the outdoor cafe, which is also a communal area, is so relaxing and comfortable. Here any food and drinks are served from very early morning to late at night, so no breakfast 'curfew'...

The communal area is nice and relaxing and the food is good! The staff are very friendly and always smiling. Our room was on the ground floor and was full of mosquitos and we found that during the day the bathroom stunk of sewerage unfortunately. Apart from this the room itself is basic but value for money.

Was pleased with our stay at Happy Guest house. Although our shower dribbled (lack of water pressure), we didn't have air conditioning and the bathroom would not lock. Despite this, the staff were very friendly and organized a last minute tuk tuk driver to take us round the temples, even though it was Khmer new year and everyone was busy...

We had a lovely stay at Happy Guest House. My two friends and I arrived by night bus from Phnom Penh and arrived to the bus station at 6:30am. It was about a 5-10 minute tuktuk ride to HGH. They let us into the room so we could change, etc before heading to Angkor. HGH had a lot of helpful...

The staff here are all so nice and helpful all the time. We only stayed a couple nights then left because we found a slightly cheaper room. Biggest mistake. Happy guest house is great for the amount of money it is. We continued to come back here to eat their fairly cheap and delicious food. They booked our bus for...
