We were a family of 9 and stayed at their family villa.. Hotel was prompt in responding to reservation queries.. They arranged a pickup in a nice van.. Good spacious rooms that you reach in a cart.. Only issue with our stay was the aircon in the common room.. But they offered to change our room to make up for...

General info: BIG hotel grounds - lots of koreans, chinese and the like, package tour groups. Rooms in the Villa quite nice, but not even close to 5 stars, on a good day 3! Now to our recent experience: Check in OK - room so-so, when leaving the room door could not lock. Waited for half an hour for someone...

The resort is really good. Spacious little houses (especially if you are staying in a villa) and a serene environment. Close ride to the city and not far from the Temples. No words about the staff...extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again...

Don't be deterred by bad reviews! I just got back yesterday after 4 days at Sokhalay Angkor and loved it. We had a 'normal' room in the hotel (not a bungalow back in the forest around the pool), but it was modern, clean, with all amenities, and cool design. The restaurants were good (I preferred eating out or at the...

The Sokhalay was peaceful and relaxing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was spacious although a little dark with the shutters closed, it did remain cool. Don't expect a 5 star luxury hotel, expect rustic and tranquil. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The resort is out of the main township, just a short Tuk Tuk ride to town...

Staying in the hotel for the second time. Last time I stayed there was one year ago. Still staying in the villa next to the outdoor pool, still like it a lot and the staff friendly and polite. The room are big and well-maintained. I have never stayed at the building side of the hotel but heard from the staff...

Poorly maintained room with stains on sofa and masking taped flooring to patch rotting/ missing / broken parquet. Told last room hence can't change it. Stuck with it for 3 nights after paying USD150 / night. For this rate in Cambodia this is probably the worst rip off hotel I've been in.

What kind of hotel that let their guest stay in the area still under construction? Dust is everywhere. Paint still wet. Bathroom is flooding and no hot water. Wake up call everyday at 7 am by drilling machine. No wifi. Now i can only smell paint and glue
