We booked this hostel before arriving in Cambodia. We had multiple conversations with Mr "whynot" regarding transportation from the bus to his hostel. He therefore had plenty of opportunity to tell us the hostel we booked wasn't available and we were being moved to another hostel with a 1/5 rating on TripAdvisor with no price reduction. That's just wrong! Only...

When I stayed in Angkor Wonder, I was extremely well cared for. The staff was really friendly and the owner went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The room was clean and cosy. Great value even for Cambodian standards.

Mr. Why Not and his family run a great budget hotel. The rooms were large, had great beds, great air conditioning, a small fridge, desk and chair, and a private bathroom. There were two large full beds and we slept 3 people for 9 USD total per night. This was the same price for 3 people as a very run...

Upon arrival Mr Why Not was very welcoming and arranged to take us around the temples for sunrise, he took us in a different order which meant we avoided all the crowds. He upgraded us to a twin room for free from the dorms and his whole family were very friendly the entire time, stayed 4 nights total and would...

This hostel is run by a Cambodian family who are all very nice and will help you out if you have any questions. Mr 'why not' took us out to all the temples, which was very good as his English is brilliant. I would recommend getting air con as it gets very got up here. I would definitely stay here...

Everything you need if you are on a budget. Stuff is really friendly and helpful and they speak good English. There was no hot water in our room, so they kindly let us use a shower in one of the empty rooms before moving us to another room the next day (there was no empty double bed rooms before). There...

This is a cheap hotel and to be honest, it was exactly what I expected. The staff were friendly enough, more than helpful in booking 4.30am tuk-tuks for sunrise tours and providing free airport pickup, and the location was only a five minute walk from Pub Street - all good there. And the room wasn't that terrible, and was quite...

This place's host, Mr "Why Not?", was one of the greatest people we met during our trip to Southeast Asia. His kindness and generosity make up for any flaws the hostel might have. He was very welcoming and was our driver/guide to the Angkor City too. Also, he showed us some places only known by locals, which was very interesting....
