By far the best food and cocktails we had in Siem Reap. Actually still the best we have had on our entire trip through Vietnam too. Owned and run by a Cambodian family who know their food! We stayed there for hours and tried every entree they had.

Thank you so much for this very kind review. We are working hard on the food now and are extending the menu so soon there will be even more Khmer home cooking. Please come back soon and tell us what you think.

Purple Mangosteen is the perfect spot for those looking to sample Siem Reap's busy nightlife. The rooms are clean, trendy and very comfy. If you are a light sleeper you might want to think twice. We are a family of three and not particularly easy sleepers but had no trouble sleeping well despite the distant doof doof. The food's good,...

On a recent trip this was one of only a very few places we ate at twice. The place is just lovely and staff very helpful. The meals are very reasonably priced at around $4 - however, they have a three course meal option for any choice of entree, any main and fresh fruit for $5-75. There is also a...

Didn't stay here but took advantage of their dinner offer of a three course dinner for thrumpence. What attracted us is that it was served on the fourth floor terrace of this boutique hotel in downtown SR. After flogging up the stairs, there is a small terrace with great views of SR and surroundings. Make sure you order everything before...

I first checked the street view of this hotel using Google earth and immediately liked the place. It's on a side street with a bar, restos and boutiques around it. My friends and I checked in late but we were greeted warmly by it's owner, Phally, and her staff, warmly. The rooms are clean, the linen and towels of good...

I am only commenting on the restaurant as I didn't stay at this hotel. Found the food to be very good and reasonably priced (especially enjoyed the lemongrass mojito and the banana flower salad). Slightly calmer location than the big places on the main Pub Street drag, but still close to the action.

You have everything you need at this BB, new bedsheets every day, new towels, safety locker, minibar etc. The toilet have the possibility to be very fresh but the water tap leaked on the floor. So it pulled down the good feeling. The service was great, always a smile and a good recommendation from the staff. Help with tuktuk and...

This is a small hotel with just a few rooms. But my room was clean every day and considering price and location, it was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful with a couple of personal issues I had and showed genuine concern. The worst part of the hotel is the location to Pub street and the noise late into...

We had decided that we weren't going to have any dinner (seemed like all we had been doing over the past few days was eating!) but when one of our group saw the sign for 3 courses for $5.75 we were hooked. We chose the rooftop option - 4 stories up a spiral staircase! We were the only ones on...

Stayed here with a friend. As this was my 2nd time visiting Siem Reap, I wanted to stay in a hotel nearer to town. We were given an upper floor room. The room was clean and had a clean bathroom (A must for me!). Agree with other reviewers as the hotel is located near Pub Street (where late night bars...
