The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean and they were accommodating for the large group in which I was travelling. They made us feel at home. The pool was lovely on hot days. A slight smell came and went, but the pool was clean and a welcome relief.

The sidewalk hotel was a great introduction to Cambodia - friendly staff, great guides (especially the fruit salad for breakfast).the temples are spectacular... but you can not help but be overwhelmed by the friendly ,warm heated Cambodian people....may made our stay so memorable! You should consider the trip to Beng Melea.... It is a long drive over rough roads ... but...

When I reflect on my time in Cambodia, I'm thinking that my stay at the Sidewalk was possibly the most enjoyable part. The rooms are large, clean and affordable. The pool is welcome relief from the heat. The afternoons spent at the BBQ with Cony (sp?) the manager, Lane (sp?) the Tuk-Tuk driver and others drinking cold Angkor lager was...

Almost every evening the staff invited us guests to join them outside for a beer and sometimes a barbecue. It gave us a chance to talk to the locals about...
