Vintage charm with lovely furnishings. Good staff. Very cheap amenities in the bathrooms, which need updating. Restaurant prices too high. Laundry fees much too high. It was unnecessary to fold and encase every item in plastic. Good temperature control. Well-located.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Great hotel and great experience. The GM Jean Pierre Leclerc clearly makes a point of meeting his guests personally and runs a tight shift here with attention to detail which is reflected in the rooms and all hotel areas. Its everything I expect from a hotel in this class and should add that the price was only a smidgen more...

Hosted a group of 33 with not one complaint while touring Siem Reap! The team provides unobtrusive friendly professional service. Dining - Indoor and outdoor dining - Fantastic morning buffet of fresh local fruits, pastries, and hot buffet with omelette station (suggest order before selecting other items). Largest no diving pool provides relief from the heat. Nightly cultural show with...

Hotel has very good location - close to the airport and all attractions: National Museum is just 3 min walking distance and Angkor Wat 4 km away. You can find quite a few good hotels in Siem Reap but Raffles is unique from my point of view - it's a historic hotel with colonial charm. We stayed in Landmark Suite...

The hotel is very charming and elegant. The wooden lift captivates everyone's attention. The original timber elevator which dates back to 1929 is still being used in the hotel, and for antique enthusiast like me, will find this thing truly remarkable. Rooms are spacious, service was excellent, other facilities such as the pool and spa was great.

This is a lovely and elegant hotel; rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully. We particularly enjoyed the evening buffet and performance held on the Apsara Terrace featuring Angkorian-inspired dances. It was nice to be able to sample so many local specialties and the made-to-order stir fry was incredible. It is outside, so it was warm and humid. Breakfast was also...

Apart from the fact that this hotel is top quality it also has a story to tell. There is a staff member who's job it is to tell this story to the guests. What is there to say about a place like this. It has charm, elegance written all over it. But it was the staff who also made it irresistible. Raffles is a grand hotel in the colonial tradition with attractive public areas and comfortable rooms with lots of character. The staff are generally helpful and try hard to take care of you. In addition to beautifully restored guest rooms you can choose from one of the luxury suites, including our most popular Cabana Suites with direct access from the balcony to the garden and pool. Food gourmets will delight with a variety of options including the popular Raffles Afternoon Tea and the Apsara Terrace, Siem Reap’s best cultural dance performance and dinner in the poolside gardens.
