This hotel was surprisingly nice for the amazingly cheap price we paid for the rooms. For $68 per person (we had a group of 5) Mom's sent a van to pick us up at the airport early in the morning with signboard, check-in at Mom's, then a van/guide/entrance pass to Angkor Wat for an all-day tour to all the sites,...

Moms has a very friendly atmosphere, the staff are very helpful and Mr Chay is great at arranging tours and guides, but doesnt press you if you just want to do your own thing. The rooms are very clean and for the price, great value as you get a spacious room, ac and ensuite with a bath and shower as...

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Cambodia where we stayed for 4 days at Mom's. It is one of the original guesthouses in Siem Reap and was immaculate and quiet with great service from Chhay, the manager. He is fluent in English, and made reservations for us to attend the Javanese Dance and the national museum....

I have just come back from a short vacation to Siem Reap and stayed at Mom's Guesthouse, with some friends. I was quite happy with the place - it is very clean and well-maintained. We booked a package through Mr. Chhay the owner and it was a very good deal. It was altogether good value for money.

Our visit to Cambodia was made the moment we walked into Mom's Guesthouse in Siem Reap because of Chhay, who runs Mom's with good humoured professionalism and is interested in ensuring his Guests see & experience Cambodia from multiple perspectives. It was, in fact, Chhay who hired a terrific Guide and tuk tuk Driver and created an itinerary that took...

Mom's claims to be Siem Reap's oldest extant GH. Newer ones - most impressively, the Mandalay Inn (closer to the action, with a Burmese section to the menu) - have overtaken it. Nonetheless, it is faultless in terms of cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. No restaurant (as I remember), but the comfy "Home Cocktails" is across the street and the...

My husband and I initially booked reservations at Two Dragons and were horrified when we got there. The bathroom did not have any toilet paper (empty roll), the toilet was dirty (someone left a present), the bathroom had mildew, the towels smelled like dingy laundry and had visible holes in them, and the bed was awful. We were shocked since...

Our group of 5 went to siem reap recently and found this guesthouse online. We made a booking for 2 rooms at USD20 & 25 per room per night (1 DBL, 1 TPL). For the price paid we don't have much complaints with regards the room cleanliness and amenities, even if the towels, bed linen and slippers provided don't look...

Dimly lit rooms. Very basic and small with old furniture. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Staff ignores you most of the time and you have to take effort to aproach them. Din from the neighbour is annoying. Breakfast nothing to shout about.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Amidst the region of the secret history of the temples of Angkor, Mom's Guesthouse is one of the few best family-run guesthouses currently operational in Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia. Mom’s Guesthouse opened in 1992. It initially started with 15 Khmer traditional wooden rooms. Thanks to our hospitality and excellent service, Mom’s Guest House has become very popular for both local and international tourists. Our business is progressively growing. By early 2004, we were able to replace our wooden guesthouse with a brick building of 30 luxury rooms and March 2010 we built swimming pool. ... more   less
