Stayed in Shadow Angkor Residence for two nights in Feruary 2017. Wonderful accomodation, as the rooms are modern and spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, and wide screen multi channel LCD TV. I also had roomy balcony (not sure whether all rooms have this). The location is perfect in a safe and picturesque part of central Siem Reap, with Pub Street,...

Sadly we only had 3 nights at this hotel as we were there at peak times and they were fully booked for the other 4 nights we needed, I guess they're having too many good revues, it's hard to fault this hotel, the beds were super comfortable and over all our stay was excellent, the breakfast is a la carte...

This was our third stay at Shadow Angkor - last time 10 years ago before the renovation. I miss the way it used to be with the spacious restaurant, cane chairs, potted palms, the big upstairs verandah for guests to sit overlooking the river. But the renovation of the rooms was very welcoming - modern bathroom. Attentive staff made our...

A great place to stay. 1) Breakfast provided. Up to 6 choices of breakfast. I will recommend the local porridge. Not forgetting a plate of fruits to end the breakfast. 2) Location: Close to Pub Street and Old Market. Less than 5 mins walk to Pub Street where Khmer and International food can be found. Lots of local delicacies and...

The location of the hotel is excellent! It is close to the Old Market, Night Market, Pub Street and many wonderful restaurants and cafes. The room we stayed in was new, clean and spacious, it was very comfortable for 4 people. I especially love the hot shower after spending a day touring the temples. The staff were friendly and helpful,...

We enjoyed our five nights in one of the more luxurious suites, which had a balcony overlooking the river and was a great spot for people-watching in the morning. Amenities included separate shower and tub (the latter also great for doing some mid-trip laundry), small fridge, and plenty of space to unpack and sprawl out while recovering from warm days...

We have used Shadow of Angkor (1) in Pokambor st, next to the old market before, and we were happy with the location and the friendly atmosphere and the staff. This time I was on my own and I was looking forward to seeing the place again. It has been completely refurbished. The rooms are great, the bathrooms are modern...

I booked 3 nights here and stayed a week. Very good location, within a few minutes walk of the market and Pub Street. We had a balcony room with a little table a chairs outside which was very nice to sit and have a coffee. The room is modern and supper clean and I think the place is pretty new....

I stayed here in July 2016 for 4 nights. I chose this hotel as my travelling companions were on a budget though I have to say this little hotel is as good as the upmarket places I have stayed. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable and whilst I didn't have the balcony described in my booking I was more...
