Really nice small hotel to stay in. Very quite in a busy town. Not that far from Angkor Wat. Hotel has free tuktuk from the airport. The same driver took us around during our first day Angkor What. The second day we took a bicycle which was a bit overpriced but it was fun driving around ourselves. Disappointing that they... More

The hotel is located in a local area away from the centre of Sien Reap by the river. It is a small hotel with very comforable rooms beautifully decorated with antiques and local craft. However, only blinds separate the bathroom from the bedroom. The staff are charming and helpful. There is a small swimming pool and a spa. There is... More

Charming, boutique hotel, staffed by wonderful people who cannot do enough to help. However, if you're looking for 5 star services, you will be disappointed. The pool area is extremely cramped, with little privacy. It is adjacent to the dining area and reception so there is usually something going on in the background. Although the dinner menu is reasonably extensive... More

This hotel is beautiful. Clean, well maintained and with friendly attentive staff. Unlike a lot of other hotels in Siem Reap that are owned by Thai, Russian and Vietnamese businessmen, this hotel is Cambodian owned. It is a small hotel with only 12 rooms. Each room is spacious and very tastefully decorated with beautiful and traditional art objects that can... More

We were on an Angkor Wat 'extension' to our Vietnam travels, arranged by local agent Hanuman, and had what I'm sure is the 'best room', the pool view suite, which is fabulous! It was always a delight to return from the heat and humidity, and touring the temples, to this lovely room, and know that the reception staff would be... More

What a find! Not fans of boring, sterile, huge hotels, we look for interesting even quirky places to stay and this place really worked for us - from delightful and helpful staff, excellent food with lush gardens and lovely accommodation to the best tuk-tuk driver / guide one could hope for! Highly recommended!

We stayed for 4 nights as part of a much longer tour. The hotel was spot on in terms of the room - tremendous amount of space and pretty luxurious!! The staff were always very attention, friendly and helpful. A good base for Siem Reap - not in the central area, but near enough.

We stayed here for 5 nights and the service was excellent. We actually have a sitting room and bedroom. Love the shower...some really good restaurants that are walkable although the road is dirt and muddy if it rains but worth it and part of the experience of traveling. Breakfast is limited but satisfactory. The front desk was extremely helpful and... More

HanumanAlaya made our fantastic trip to Siem Reap and Angkor into the best trip we have taken all year. Not only did we arrive to a welcome trip, but we also arrived to the news that we had been upgraded to a gorgeous and massive suite. From that welcome trip to arranging our car back to the airport, the staff... More

My husband and I had a truly wonderful holiday. The hotel was a treat and I would without a doubt stay here again. Beautiful attention to detail in furnishings and charming staff such as Levis and Theara at reception. Delicious food for dinner and lunch.

HanumanAlaya Villa is an intimate boutique escape from the bustle of downtown Siem Reap, located with a view across to the Siem Reap River. The rooms are all finished in wood trim and our signature combination of traditional Khmer design and sophisticated international amenities. As well as beautiful decoration in the form of hand-carved wooden furnishings and traditional Khmer silk, modern touches are clearly visible with flat-screen televisions and contemporary bathrooms throughout. Beyond the rooms, the Villa includes its own secluded swimming pool, tucked away from public view. There is also a small bar-restaurant around the pool, where the included breakfast can be enjoyed each morning before exploring the temples.
