Spent a week in that hostel's dorm room. You pay for what you get. It is very hot during summer time and most of the time, the fans wouldn't be that much of help during sunrise. Each bed have mosquitoes net. As of now, I visited Mangolo Hostel again and found out that they are now permanently closed.

Mangolo rustic (a la siem reap) but certainly suitable but a big to-do over hot water. They listed tea and coffe in their amenities but attempted to sell it to me cup by cup. They ignored me for the rest of my stay when i said no! Staff paid more attention to facebook than guests. Huge bed in corner for...

I stayed here one night and had a pleasant experience. I stayed in a room with about 15 beds. The showers were all right, the mosquito nets covering the beds helped heaps and the other guests were friendly. I'd recommend this place to budget travelers who are just looking for a place to lay their heads as they explore the...

Its in a great location, just far enough from bars to be quiet. Rooms seemed pretty clean, showers etc were not great but expected for the price. Staff were nice and helpful. The problem, of course, was bed bugs :( found them swarming my pillow. Hope they fix the problem before it spreads yo other rooms.

This ia great stress free environment. Plenty of places to lay back and chill out. It's not got a party atmosphere which is nice. Bicycles available for rent and with Angkor Wat only 20-30 minutes away. Good local food close by. Stayed in the dorm with fan. Mattress on the floor with mosquito nets supplied. Enough toilets and showers. No...

Excellent backpackers hostel, close to Pub Street, restaurants and night markets. Food and drink amazingly cheap nearby, and amazingly good. Advice - wear something on your feet when walking to the toilet or shower, unless you want to get bitten by ants. They are barely visible, but have one hell of a bite on them! Short tuk tuk ride from...

I stayed at Mangolo for 5 nights while exploring the Angkor ruins, and it made a perfect home base. The price is cheap, maybe the most affordable place I stayed in SE Asia. For my money I got a mosquito net-enclosed mattress on the floor of the large 2nd floor room, a locker and lock for my gear, solid wifi,...

This guesthouse is truly a hidden gem for backpackers. I transferred in from another place mid-way through my trip to Siem Reap and I must say, I am very very glad I made the switch. The beds are platform but relatively comfortable with mosquito nets. The dorm is kept clean, the shower facilities and toilets too. You can rent a...

Owned by three cambodians, this place is just perfect. You can be answered in english, french or spanish by Nan or Pisedh (the owners staying on site). For 2$ in the doorm or 2.5$ in a room (per bed), you can't find a better deal in Siem Reap. Free WiFi, shared bathrooms, great location, very quiet place. On top of...
