My sister and I loved the Angkor Village Hotel! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It has a traditional Khmer feel with modern amenities. The rooms are huge and ours overlooked the pool and great foilage covering the property. Just remember the bug spray! The included breakfast was phenomenal and set right in the middle of the...

We used the Angkor Village Hotel as our base whilst visiting Seim Reap, the hotel is very traditional and comfortable. We were seeing the sunrise at Angkor Wat and the hotel provided us a breakfast in a hamper to take with us, we certainly didn't go hungry that morning. The rooms are very tidy with lots of timber finishes, we...

This is an amazing oasis in the city of Siem Reap. The Khmer style buildings are just beautiful and the grounds are lush and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious. We ate in the dining room one evening at it was great- probably expensive by Cambodian standard, but not so by...

Angkor Village Hotel appealed to us because it's relatively small with plenty of atmosphere thanks to the layout with walkways across ponds, tropical vegetation and sections of the hotel raised above ground (and water) in a reflection of the homes of villagers on nearby Tonle Sap Lake - the largest freshwater lake in South-East Asia, Everyone was welcoming and helpful,...

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a lovely pool. Everything superbly kept by wonderful, friendly staff. The only reason I didn't give it the full five is the lack of internet. There is no wifi in the bedrooms which isn't a problem, the problem is trying to use the Internet in the public areas in the evenings, you get eaten alive by...

Spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. Walking distance or very short Tuk Tuk to Pub Street and Markets, the staff could not be more accommodating. The landscaped grounds and all wood appointments made me feel like I was experiencing something truly authentic as opposed to the glass and steel of more modern properties. The room was quite large with...
