My views about this hotel are very much a mixture of some of the comments that have been highlighted in other reviews. The location is very convenient and we often walked to or from the Old Market, Pub Street and beyond. If you don’t care to walk, tuk tuks can always be found outside. I found the overall ambiance of...

Angkor Village is all that you'd expect from the pictures and previous reviews on here. We stayed for 4 nights and the staff were truly amazing. My friends birthday fell in our stay and they made a real effort to get her a cake and sing happy birthday. So many more positives than I'm able to recall right now.

Can't say enough good things about this lovely, tranquil oasis in Siem Reap. The hotel facilities (lobby, restaurant, pool area) are beautifully decorated in the Khmer style with dark woods and bright fabrics. There is lush foliage all around plus a gorgeous pond with fountains and water lilies that surrounds the restaurant. You feel as if you are in a...

The hotel is magical in it's setting. The reception is efficient making one comfortable immediately. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. We dined on an island floating in a lily pond in the centre of the hotel. The rooms are approached along outdoor walkways full of character and the odd bit of wildlife. All the staff were cheerful and...

This hotel was, once, beautiful I'm sure. Time has taken its toll and it is now, charitably, best described as shabby. The rooms are acceptably well appointed, but are gloomy and dim inside even on a bright, sunny day. The beds are as hard as a rock. The staff are pleasant enough, but many of them (in customer service roles)...

We stayed here for 5 nights and we feel we made the best choice in town. Loved coming "home" after a long day at the temples. Every detail is so perfect! And what amazing breakfast everyday. We also like that it was easy walking to all the things we wanted to do at night. Don't let the "No" TV or...

Loved this place. Downside... No wifi!!! I was happy that there wasnt a TV in the room as the place was an oasis of calm so I appreciated the calming environment of water and lotus etc. no loud TV in my face. Wifi only in reception lounge which is bizarre. Very inconvenient if you come back after a long day...

Ankhor village hotel is beautiful. Divine even. A tropical paradise/oasis in the middle of a bustling Siem Reap. The gorgeous bungalows were set in lovely lush gardens, with a pool, and a restaurant surrounded by a lotus filled pond and waterfeatures. Extremely well appointed with statues, and little touches that were a delight. The staff were extremely friendly... excellent customer...
