My 5th visit and we will return whenever in Siem Reap. Each year it continues to improve. The rooms continue to be clean, comfortable, and maintained beautifully. Breakfasts are enjoyable. The upstairs garden balcony is a delightful place to sit and the fish spa is a great place to relax. No need to pay for it in town. Prom is...

We've stayed a number of times when in town and having stayed at other places around the country it does maintain a consistently high standard which I think is reflective of it being a small family place. Each person is known as an individual rather than a customer. I am biased from having stayed here regularly but I stay here...

Golden Takeo was ok to us, we stayed 4 nights. However for $16 each night, we expected a little more. The rooms were just ok. Bathroom is merged with a shower and this was a bit annoying. Breakfast was pretty good. We used the driver, Aum, quite a bit and he's a friendly guy, and the prices are reasonable. Overall,...

One of the nicest guest houses in south east Asia! Friendliest staff Around and perfectly clean rooms! The owner helped us with everything during our stay, organising pick ups, tuk tuks, day trips, information on buses and even booked our onward travel for cheaper than any other place! He even made our breakfast early 2 mornings so we got something...

Prom, the hotel manager is young and a very friendly guy. He is available all the times and helps you in every possible way. He arranges tuk tuk and other services, always reasonable in prices. He doesn't take advantage of the guests. I loved the way, room space is utilized. it even had a study desk and chair where I...

I enjoyed my stay at Golden Takeo. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, giving tips on how much things should cost and helping to arrange tuk tuk travel at reasonable rates as it is easy to be gouged by unfamiliar drivers. The room was small but clean and very comfortable. Lots of tv channels if you want some down...

Don't let the fact that this guesthouse is a bit of a walk away from Pub St discourage you, it is a great place to stay! Prom, the manager, along with the ladies upstairs, are great and go out of their way to help in any way they can. Our room was right by the main door/ staircase, but we...

this is my second visit to the Golden Takeo. I was felt just at home as the first time I was there. There have also been some really good improvements. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are basic bikes available to use for free and also mountain bikes to hire for $4 a day which is really good...
