There is a shuttle service by the hotel from the airport. This hotel looks very unattractive from the outside. The interior decoration is very basic although acceptable by African standard. The rooms are fairly well furnished. The air conditioning and hot water worked. The lifts also worked. The check in and check out were flawless. I didn't see any visible...

Location is definately the asset of the hotel. The bedroom has a great size and it is comfortable. However, the hotel is very oldfashioned and the outiside is everything but nice. It is underconstruction and the works wake me up (they were literally in my window). It has potential but still a lot work to do.

The highlight was the awesome and friendly staff! That really stood out. The hotel is very dark, all the windows closed with dark curtains. That was an issue for me. The room was surprisingly nice compared to downstairs. If I had to come back I would probably try another hotel just to see if that's the standard, as I've been...

Hotel La Residence La Falaise is a very nice hotel with a wonderful staff that aims to please. The outside is not too nice looking but the rooms are comfortable and clean with great A/C. They have a great laundry service and very nice restaurant and bar. There are some nice things to see but traveling is better with a...

From the outside it really looks like a prison ugly and loud. The rooms are actually not that bad, but the whole hotel was under construction when I was there. Even our room looked like it would be ok, the toilette bowl was overflowing and we had have to change the room twice.

This hotel would be perfectly acceptable to anyone looking for a good value comfortable stay in Douala. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation at time of writing but the work has been unobtrusive and we've had no inconvenience whatsoever. The room we were given was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and all mod cons. Air conditioning a lifesaver!! Combined bath/shower,...

This hotel has a swimming pool and gym, the rooms are not very spacious, but clean. WIFI is free but not very good all over the hotel, i had to put my phone in the corner to catch the signal. The room has very low lighting, which makes the room very dark. Reception and room service were very nice except...

Reading these reviews you'd think there are several hotels here. We stayed at the Hôtel Résidence La Falaise at 503 Blvd. de la Liberté, Akwa. This is a large, substantial hotel at central location, and near to nightlife. Room 107 fully renovated, very comfortable, and quiet. Rate was 95,000 or 150 euro. Late checkout charge of 50%. Include internet, alright...
