Got back from hiking in Argentina late at night and this was one of the few places to have a room. Much better than expected. The common areas were spotless and the breakfast was good. The room itself was a bit run down (tape over a broken widow) but it and the bath room were clean. All that we needed...

Wonderful hostel with extremely friendly and helpful owners. I seemed more like hotel though, so if you look for a party hostel this might no be the place to go, but if you enjoy very spacious, very clean rooms with tv and private bathroom + a great breakfast for a good price (in winter it is cheap, the rate goes...

Our three nights and two glorious days in Patagonia were special because of "Lucy" and "Migel" and their fantastic South Wind Hostel. If you enjoy a family-run, warm, clean and positive small hotel, then this is the one for you. The accomodations are a result of a remodel and this one works.
