Our family of 5 was very comfortable at the Amerindia. On our quick overnight after 4 days of trekking we found the beds comfy, the breakfast delicious (complete with cute homemade cookies on xmas eve) and the vibe is funky, cozy and casual. Every room unique.

We had a room with a private bathroom at the back, which was perfect! The shower was the best shower we had during our 2 1/2 week trip around Chile and Argentina. It's just such a great little place to stay and it has everything you need. The lounge area was nice to hang out in and the breakfast was...

Amerindia was the perfect starting point before our trek to Torres del Paine. It's a cosy, warm, and tastefully decorated hostel with strong wifi as well. We got a private room in the back. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage there during the trek. The morning that we left was an early one...

Also the rooms are nicely decorated, and beds I have to say are comfortable;however the service is VERY POOR. There is a big discrepancy from what you see and what you get!! Additionally .... The overall...

Great hostal. Warm, cozy, clean and with very good breakfast (not continental or anything of the sort, but different kinds of cereal and bread). Staff was very helpfull and nice. The rooms are comfortable and large enough.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Amerindia after hiking the Torres Del Paine trail. After the wind, sun, rain and constant chaffing of rubbing my nose, my face was so chapped and dry. I asked the woman at the counter for a recommendation from their little product corner and was led to buy a little glass jar of Terra Luz...
