Rooms are spacious and attractive - and heated. There are lovely communal areas. Staff are helpful and friendly. We ate in the café the evening we stayed there and the food was really good. Yes there are cheaper places but this was value for money - when I asked my friends which place we had stayed in over 4 weeks... More

We had a really good time in this hotel : the team there is welcoming and do not hesitate to help you if you have any question/ issue during your trip there. The rooms are good and have a real charm. And the breakfast is perfect.

The reception is inside a very charming cafe, which is unfortunately totally overpriced (around 3,000 pesos for a cup of coffee), which is why we didn't try any of the food there, although it looked quite appetising. The breakfast however, which is served in the cafe, was a nice change to the breakfast buffets at most of the other places... More

My husband and I loved this place, was a seriously welcome rest after our hiking in Torres del Paine. Not to best beds but cosy and comfy with fantastic breakfast and cafe. Friendly chatty staff and lovely atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I stayed here both before and after backpacking the W Trek in Torres del Paine. There are definitely cheaper options for a hostel in Puerto Natales if you are trying to save as much as possible, but you get what you pay for here. The staff are very friendly and willing to help you with anything you... More

'Rustic' and 'cosy' were the first words that sprung to mind when I entered Hostal Amerindia. It felt warm and inviting and everywhere there were colourful rugs, flowers in a vase on the kitchen table and all the furniture was made of wood. The bedrooms were lovely, it was easy to see a lot of care and attention had been... More

We stayed at Amerindia before and after doing the W trek. All of the staff were friendly, smiley, approachable and helpful. We were able to leave our excess baggage at the hostel in between our stays and it was great knowing we were going back to clean, cosy, warm rooms with hot showers after our trek. Just sad we didn't... More

This was a great place to relax. The room was comfortable, but the best part is the attached cafe. Breakfast was huge, as were their sandwiches....in fact the biggest sandwiches I've ever seen! The staff were all really friendly, and the cafe had a great relaxed vibe....perfect for pre/post Torres Del Paine trips.

Good location at 200 meters from the main plaza and church. The lady owner, very kind and helps you with anything you might need. The hotel has only 10 rooms, comfortable and with everything you need. Good breakfast. Here, you can also rent a car to get to Torres del Paine.

This was our fourth visit to Puerto Natales, and having visited the (amazing) Amerindia cafe a few times, we decided to splash out and stay at the hostel this time. With the prices they charge (47 000 for an ensuite double), we were expecting it to be really great. We were disappointed. The room was fine but not as nice... More
