I recently traveled through Punta Arenas, on my way up to Puerto Natales. I stayed only one night at the Al Fin del Mundo Hostal and was pleasantly surprised. There was a nice group of travelers in the common room, we quickly started to talk and had some drinks together; great environment. The breakfast was pretty solid, complete with yogurt,...

Loved the three days I spent here, such an awesome experience with amazingly cool people :) !! Would definitely recommend and come back. The staff was awesome and the whole hostel felt so comfortable and chill.

I was disappointed in my stay at Al Fin Del Mundo and would never return. In spite of very excellent location and acceptable breakfast the hostel was filthy and reminded me of a teenage stoner's basement bedroom...complete with heavy metal and nag champa incense...the kitchen wares were chipped and dirty, the table runner next to my bed was disgusting. I...

My room was fairly basic but typical of most South American hostels, however the bathroom, while a bit dated was large (proper free standing bath) airy and clean. The stairs are quite narrow, breakfast decent and staff helpful but with basic English. Most of the other guests were Spanish rather than English speaking. The hostel was located very close to...

Great location, amazing restaurant called Luna across the road. Nice communal area, really friendly staff, spacious bathrooms. No lockers for valuable, breakfast a little cramped, small kitchen. A little dusty. But overall good vibes

I turned up ad-hoc without a reservation, and luckily found this place. Simply excellent, great atmosphere in the common areas and good facilities like lots of films, pool table etc. Very helpful, friendly staff and comfy, clean rooms. Breakfast also was excellent, with lots of it. Good value for money around here. Well recommended.

I spent over a week at this hostel and had a very good experience. There is an open kitchen, which is very useful if you wish to prepare your own food. The atmosphere is very nice. There is always someone at the playroom, playing pool, playing guitar or having a drink. The rooms, however, are very nice and quiet. The...

A very homely place, where people just leave there stuff lying around and that is fine. Not a lot of rules, just act normal, which is great. Best of all is the amazing breakfast! I stayed three nights and I could have three kind of different breakfasts each morning. Very strong wifi and very comfortable beds with down covers. Only...

The super friendly staff were a good start to our stay here. The kitchen and various communal areas are excellent and the place really feels homey. There's a pool table and games room, a lounge area with music and book exchange and a dining room with a big table. The whole place is set up for meeting people. Our room...

Could not be recommended with any enthusiasm. The positives: A great location close to restaurants, the town centre and the waterfront. Staff were laid back, pleasant enough to deal with. I took a single room with a window over the street. Breakfast was just OK. Bathrooms were acceptable, wifi was serviceable. The negatives: Most of the fittings and furnishings were...
