I loved it here. It felt like a home more than a hostel. The rooms are good - my cheap dorm bed was in a two-person room, with single beds rather than bunks. Breakfast is superb. With everyone seated at one large table, it's perfect to meet other travellers. There were various types of cereal, yoghurt, fruit, meat and cheese...

Wasn't impressed by this place at all. The whole hostel is very dark and dingy and generally a bit depressing. Our double room barely had space for the bed and the walls were paper thin. The bathroom was a bit of a trek from our room too, across the living room, up the stairs and along to the end of...

Al Fin del Mundo is a hidden gem in Punta Arenas. The hostel is very comfortable, has a lounge area, big communal table, bean bags, a big TV and a very well-equipped kitchen. The bathrooms are spacious and always clean just like the rest of the rooms. Although the dorms might not be the prettiest, the beds are comfortable and...

This place came highly recommended to me. And it definitely deserved that recommendation! The place was clean, safe, fun (lots of DVD´s and a huge TV if it is raining). The couple are fantastic and speak English if your Spanish is rusty. Would definately recommend. I will definitely be coming back.

We stayed in total three nights in this hostal. It is located in the center of Punta Arenas, so everything is within walking distance. The staff is mostly helpfull but sometime nobody is there to open the door... It seems that they are a little confused sometimes and not very good organized. The breakfast is good, everything is prepared on...

My husband and I would not recommend staying at the Fin del Mundo Hostel in Punta Arenas, Chile because of the disgusting sanitation conditions. When we arrived at the hostel we had an unfriendly greeting accompanied by overflowing ash trays, half eaten yogurts and fruit that looked like it had not been touched in two days all over the kitchen...

We wanted to check in early. The staff had a slight language barrier and was not too helpful. We planned to do laundry, but we had to walk all over to find out the laundry mat was closed when staff told is it opened at 3. We called another hostel and had them do our laundry for $30! What a...

Friendly folks, VERY helpful generally and lots of local knowledge. We stumbled on it the first time through Punta Arenas, but returned there assuredly the second time through.
