We spent two nights at Ilaia before heading to Puerto Natales/Torres del Paine. It was lovely, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The sitting room at the top is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Very peaceful! The owners were both extremely helpful. They made the arrangements for us to take the boat tour to see the... More

Staff is very friendly and helpful, helped a lot with tips for our visit at Torres Del Paine (thanks, Cecilia!) Great breakfast for vegetarians! Comfortable, well decorated, wooden building. Situated 10 min by foot from center, and 10 min from the Mirador (view point) above the city. No TV in rooms, but who cares...?

In Denmark, the word "hygge" is used to describe the concept of coziness created when enjoying the company of friends, family, or sipping tea by the fireplace. Hotel Ilaia is the epitome of cozy togetherness in Chile! We booked the triple room for 2 nights as we prepared to embark on adventures in Torres del Paine. It was the perfect... More

Hotel Ilaia is unlike any place I have ever stayed. It's not like going to a normal hotel or even a bed and breakfast- it feels like you are returning home for the holidays. Everyone is so friendly, especially the owner and her family. They make you feel instantly at home. The staff gave us maps and recommendations for touring... More

Ilaia is a very nice, modern boutique hotel, about twenty minutes on foot from downtown. The room was very clean, the bathroom had all the amenities expected and the breakfast was abundant and tasty. The ladies running the place would not know what else to do to make our stay even more enjoyable. We really regretted having to leave ,,,

Modern, beautigul, great and clean hotel with very friendly, caring and hearty staff, tasty breakfast. It felt like home! And the roof-top with overview of the town and the ocean is a very pleasant bonus. Highly recommend!

The rooms were spacious and the views were beautiful. Great choice for getting away from it all!. Our breakfasts were very special with the same waiter every day, and all of the staff were super friendly.

We stayed here when we arrived in Puntas Arenas and the night before we left. We had a triple that was almost two rooms. Very clean and spare but nicely appointed. and very reasonably priced. They have a lovely sitting room, lots of glass, on the rooftop that overlooks the city and Strait of Magellan. It's a great feature and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights after visiting Torres del Paine/Puerto Natales and while doing day trips to see penguin colonies. Pros: - the ladies running this hotel are exceptional! excellent hospitality and service - the room we had was simple, but comfortable (we had the 'deluxe' one) - breakfast was good as long as you like muesli with fruit...
