This is a hotel much used by groups. To that end it fulfils a purpose at the beginning or end of a trip, which is how I came to be here. I stayed a few more nights between arrival and departure. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all you need, including free wifi. Wifi was very slow and variable,... More

First, this hotel was a stopover bundled into Antarctic cruise pricing, so I do not know what it cost. But we were pleasantly surprised. It is not luxurious, but it is clean, new-er and the rooms are large (some have three double beds in them, which our three kids really appreciated!). The breakfast buffet was quiet nice and the lobby/bar/restaurant... More

We stayed one night en-route to Torres del Paine. After traveling for almost 30 hours; London-Madrid-Santiago-Punta Arenas it was great to arrive. Checking in was easy and quick, our travel agent had made all the necessary arrangements, and the hotel had all the information for our onward transfer the following day. We had a pleasant room on the top floor... More

We stayed here one night due to an unfortunate change of travel plans. The hotel is lovely and conveniently located. They have a nice lobby bar and a well trained staff. I would think this is easily one of the nice hotels in town.

We expected very little as this hotel was part of a package deal on our way to Antarctica. We though it would be backpacker style, but were delighted to find a real 4-star experience. The hotel is set on the edge of the old village square with a lovely park and trees in the centre of town. Our room faced... More

I stayed in this hotel on two separate nights to and from Antarctica. Overall it was a pleasant stay only to be marred by extremely noisy roars from what appeared to be boy racers outside the back of the hotel until 5am. My window was firmly shut despite this. I saw them later in modified cars with large twin exhausts... More

This hotel seems like a 5-star hotel. Large, modern rooms. Very good food and service. We were welcome with a pisco sour, complimentary water and fruits in the room. Since it was cold and raining, we had dinner at the hotel. Our last chance for king crab legs, served already peeled. I could have stayed one more day but on... More

My wife and I stayed only one night at this hotel before going to the Patagonia and it was a pleasant experience. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is that the rooms seemed kind of old and the bed wasn't the most comfortable. But the staff are very friendly and they gave us a great recommendation for... Punta Arenas is not your destination for a tropical holiday, extremely windy, cold and wet makes your choice of hotel in this area very important. Cabo de Hornos is not a luxury hotel by world standards, but then considering where you are (at the bottom of the world) what is ? Yet this hotel has much to offer, other than... More
