We arrived here after being up for over 40 hours so I cannot fully remember the details of the room, but I remember being pleased with it, and the bed was comfortable and the room, clean. we ate dinner at the hotel with our tour group and it was OK, not great. Had some type of fish. The Panna cotta...

It's a very no-frills place with average rooms and average food. The staff was very friendly though. Don't expect the internet to work. It's located right on the "costanera", which is the main road that hugs the coast line and connects the town to the airport, so if you like to run you'll be in a great spot and can...

Although it is listed 4 star I would give it a 3 max. The room was comfortable although could use some update. Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Breakfast average. The first morning had to wait for coffee and then one of the waiters made me an espresso. Ten minutes later the coffee arrived. Some of the staff wer very courteous...

I was there for four days , I was in a room overlooking the sea, the room was quiet and very broad. The cleanliness was ok , but the first day in the trash near the desk had remnants of fruit left by another guest , indicating that the room cleaning was not so careful . The shower and bed...

We had to stay a night here on our way to puerto natales. The hotel is listed as 4 star at its entrance but this is more like a 2.5-3 star quality. We had to carry our own bags to our rooms. The reception got our reservations confused even though I had vouchers to assist them. The rooms are small...

Diego de Almegro is a nice hotel in Punta Arenas. It is right on the strait, make sure you get a room overlooking the water "vista al mar", (I think odd number rooms.) Hotel is a 3 1/2 to 4 star in the US. Rooms are fine, tvs are fairly old (no HDMI ports etc) sometime a light might not...

We enjoyed the hotel. Our kids loved the pool which was a nice warm break from the howling winds outside. The breakfasts were good with a good variety of food to choose from. The location gave us a nice view of the waterfront and walk way, and it was easy to get out to the harbour for our excursion to...

Stayed at the hotel just one night on way to Torres del Paine NP. Traveled with a group, so did not select th hotel on my own (but would do so next time). Hotel was very good. Had a fine group dinner there (well served), and the breakfast was a five-star buffet. Rooms are large and clean, and the hot...

Punta Arenas is a little town worth exploring. Freezing cold as you are not far from the Antarctic (you are very aware of that). People very friendly and very safe to walk around the hotel, which is right on the sea front. Did not eat in the hotel and had a boxed breakfast due to an early flight.
