The hotel is actually in Qingxi, a small town east of Dongguan. I stayed in a room on the Executive floor. The room was pretty big and clean. I do not recommend the laundry service. Clothes came back with a strange smell. The breakfast was good, lots of choices. The happy hour in the evening was not worth it unless... More

Chamen Hotel was recommended by the company I visited which is 10minutes only by car. I arrived at 10:30pm, check in process was fast. I was greeted by the male receptionist in wrinkled white clothes. After getting the key, I asked where is the elevator, I have to look for the room by myself. I don't mind because I came... More

Someone else booked the hotel for me and I couldn't influence the decision. Therefore, I was a bit sceptical at first due to the lack of reviews. However, this was unnecessary. It's a big and very dominant, kind of oversized to be honest, such as many other government - built hotels in the area. We were a group of five... More

I've stayed here many times over the past 5 years. The hotel is decent if you need to stay close to Qingxi otherwise the Metropiltan Yiking or Goodview are better options if you can afford a 15-20 minute drive. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the internet can be unreliable and can go down for extended periods of time. The... More

I was there on business for a week, rooms were very clean, breakfast room had decent western style food. Rooms where very quiet with a nice view of the city. The hotel sits in the middle of town, and taxis are there 24 hours a day for in-town transportation. Wifi was a little sketchy, did not always work, but I... More

The best thing about the Chamen or Grand Howard as it is also known is it is very near our production facilities so I don't have to get up earlier than necessary. The rooms are a little musty but you find that everywhere in China because of the humidity. If you are looking to high level of luxury with shops... More

What a horrible hotel. The price is too high for such poor quality. Poor internet. Poor staff training. Stayed in this hotel many times and quality keep going down. All the experienced staff are gone.

I arrived rather late (at 21.30) after a long trip. Regrettably no restaurant available. The Western restaurant was also closed the next day. Breakfast rather limited. English language skills from the staff was very limited. Hotel room was clean and the hotel seems to be save. However I have seen better and cheaper hotels in this area.
