I stayed at the Royal Garden for 1 night at the end of a 3 day business trip to Sanya. It was a big improvement on the hotel I stayed in for the first 2 nights (the Liking Hotel - previously known as the 'Landscape Hotel' around the corner). The hotel property is perched high on a hill with views...

Stayed for a very long break. Plusses... Big rooms, polite and efficient service, with extra attempts made to understand English, location is in a nice area, a short walk from decent bars and cafes and restaurants, sea view Minuses... Breakfast extremely limited for Western tastes, inability to get taxi service

The Royal Garden Resort Resort VIP Villas are located on the hillside on LuLing Lu overlooking DaDongHai. Currently the views are amazing but there is construction underway across the road and down the hill which could impact depending on the height attained. This is my second stay here and it is a decent place. The rooms are large and while...

My title says it all. Can't complain about the view and cleanliness. The problem is the poorly trained Staff. From Wifi in the room (which we already paid for) , broken fridge, umbrella to pretty much every little thing come prepared to argue with the very rude , lying staff. If you are prepared to put in the time fighting...

I was on fam trip (hotel inspection) and saw this hotel in the distance. I asked our colleagues to check this hotel out. Since the hotel is located on a hill, the pool has amazing view of the city! The rooms I've checked were good albeit a bit pricey. I had to wait for their manager for 30 minutes! But...

I stayed at this hotel as a female solo traveller in november. I booked a superior deluxe room in the VIP area (the new building located by the infinity pool) and thought it was excellent value for money. The rooms all have a great view of the sea and a nice big balcony. The infinity pool is great and the...

Firstly and most importantly, this is a review of the Sanya Royal Garden Resort -GRAND BUILDING. The hotel has two separate facilities and they are very different. I believe they are in the process of changing the name of their older building as my Chinese companions told me that the Chinese name of this hotel no longer reflects the English...

Stay somewhere else. I travel extensively and have never encountered such rudeness. When the staff are not on their cell phones or chatting among themselves, they act as if you are a bother and go out of their way to avoid providing assistance. For me the last straw was when I asked the woman sitting behind the "cashier" sign to...

“Make sure to get a higher room. The lowest floor (I think they call it 3) offers no privacy as people at the pool can look into your room. Also one room on the lowest floor is half obstructed by a stair-well. None of the higher rooms have obstructions. The "Garden-view" rooms looked amazing and still have a sea-view.”
