Well, this place offers you a place to sleep and that's it. The room is really really small it barely could accommodate 4 people in the room. The toilet is quite smelly, so just had to bear with that all the time. The wifi could only work in the common room. I've been to other hostels in various cities offering...

Stay here only if you're just looking for a roof over your head for the night. Amenities in this hostel are extremely basic. Other reviewers complain of the smelly toilets. In winter, because windows are normally not opened, the rooms are rarely aired so the smell is even worse. We live in Beijing and are used to the smell but...

I came back to Harbin this year to visit the Ice Festival a second time. I slept at the same hostel cause it was convenient, I knew where it was and how to get to other place from there. The hostel is nice, warm, there's a convenience store right next to it. The staff speaks english, although they could be...

We chose this hostel through Hostelworld because they offered a 'Free' shuttle bus to the one attraction we came to this city for - the Ice and Snow world. We let them know in advance we were travelling with children (like 3 months advance) and paid the deposit. As we are travelling at the time of Chinese New Year Train...

The place is very simple. Very limited facilities in the room, and the mattress is quite thin. Anyway it has a nice location being very close the river and Central Street. Price may be a little higher considering its general simple condition. The staff are warm and helpful, and at the entrance there is always a very big yellow cat...

I had a problem with my train ticket to Harbin. I needed to find a room for one night stay before go to another hotel as soon as possible. It was difficult to find hostel near the next one but I found this place. I arrived Harbin around midnight, went to this place by sharing taxi with another 3 guys....

Stayed here in Jan 2013. Do not ever stay in this place. The hostel is crammed, dirty and gloomy and forever smelled like sewage. Even the harsh winter cold did not manage to block out the smell. I stayed in a room on the first level which is way overheated at 27-28C indoors without any windows. (Imagine trying to put...

In the very cold Harbin winter, it was really great to have a cozy warm place to come back to. However, it really wasn't nice to be greeted by creatures crawling around in the bathroom and waking up to finding your luggage wet because your bathroom overflowed during the night. Worse yet, when you raise these issues with the front...

It's a youth hotel, like you would expect. They DON'T have towels, even to rent or buy, so bring yours ! They're helpful enough to tell you how to get around. The rooms are overheated, but I guess it's everywhere in Harbin during winter. You get to meet nice people from everywhere though, who don't have much money either, but...

I spent 2 nights in this hostel during the Ice Festival. I stayed there with 2 friends, so we had a 3-bed room with bathroom. I'm really happy we had our own bathroom because the common one seemed really dirty and smelled really bad. The service was ok; they could smile more, that wouldn't hurt. I appreciated the good heating,...
