Given that I've stayed in some real hovels, and that tour promised 5 star hotels, this please was a real disappointment. I thought it was just an oversight, that my room was not clean. But then I looked at some of the other rooms and they were just as dirty--grease marks, obviously no vacuuming for a while. If you want...

We recently stayed here on a Sinorama tour. Reviews have been made of the good but whirlwind tours by this company so the hotel stay was just for one night at the end of a long day only to be up at the crack of dawn the next. As such I am unable to comment on location, places of interest...

Very comfortable room, nicely furnished though with a queen bed rather than the typical king, and with all the features that seem to be standard with this level of accommodation in China – in-room safe, free wifi, bar fridge, bottled water, kettle (tap water is safe to drink if you boil it), tea and coffee, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, etc....

Pros: The rooms are really nice and if you get one on a high floor, the view is beautiful at night. The beds are comfy and the washrooms are clean. All in all, it was very relaxing and would definitely stay here again if I come back to Suzhou. Cons: The leisure centre is sort of sketchy and old-looking. I...

Our second hotel as part of a tour group booking. Very nice hotel, had a more Asian style & ambience. Very modern & stunning bathroom ! Large rooms. Coffee/tea station in room; free wifi. Nice linens & lots of towels.

Our group stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Once again we found the check in very efficient as our rooms keys were ready on our arrival and within no time we were resting in our rooms after a tiring day having visited Zhuliajiao (Water Village) enroute from Shanghai to Suzhou. The breakfast was also very good with a good...

We stayed here on a Sinorama tour. It was a short stay, but the hotel was wonderful. It was very clean and spacious and my kids said it was their favorite hotel to stay in. The bathroom was huge, with a walk in shower/bathtub. It was super cool for the kids. Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance, so we didn't...

I stayed here on a Sinorama tour and found the hotel to be amazing. The shades had remote control. The bathtub had TV and view of the skyline... The room was large with two queen sized beds, lounge area, and huge bathroom. I have stayed in rooms smaller than the bathroom. Breakfast was vast, many choices of types of traditional...

Another high class beautifully appointed Chinese hotel. Rooms lovely, clean, spacious everything you expect in China these days for the business traveller. But, the place is dead. It is a dormitory block and not much else, no heart, no bar. Breakfast is OK and can get crowded with tourists both Chinese and Western.

Stayed at the Suzhou Gusu Jin Jiang Hotel on 15 Sept. 2014. Very beautiful hotel, very clean, courteous staff, good food. Our room was spacious, very clean & well furnished, no bathtub just shower. No problems. M. T.
