This hotel was very comfortable. The room was massive well designed and luxurious. It was central and convenient. Breakfast was good. We were based here to visit the panda breeding centre, which was a joy.

The Tibet Hotel is one of those excellent international standard hotels to be found, it appears, in every major conurbation in China. We could not fault it for cleanliness and room amenity. Breakfast was top notch, with every sort of cuisine available. I can't judge value for money, because this was part of our package, but if you get a...

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast buffet and a very helpful staff with a good command of English. Location was walking distance to the Wanda Mall, a Buddhist temple, a Christian church and a really nice European style bakery. I would stay there again and again.

As mentioned by others this place has a Tibetan theme to it...well it's owned and run by the Tibetan 'government'. Not a lot of staff with English skills but we managed. Good beds. Clean rooms. Everything worked well. We had a room with a view of the nightly light show on the plaza skyscrapers across the way. Not in the...

We stayed there for three nights during our recent tour organized by China Highlights tours. This is a beautifully appointed hotel. The rooms are large and the bed comfortable. We loved the Tibetan decor. The breakfast buffet was delicious and featured some regional food choices. It is centrally located and an easy walk to the subway.

Stayed 2 nights as part of China tour. Lovely hotel throughout, public areas, rooms, facilities, staff etc. Welcome gifts in room, and turndown service nice touches. Attractively decorated in Tibetan style. Location out of main city but close to large shopping mall where there are lots of eating places, and local colour, dancing, stalls etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent 2 nights here on a tour, centrally located, 5 min walk to underground station and big shopping centre. Spacious room, wide selection of western and Chinese food for breakfast. Had some shirts and t shirts done but the laundry service , they were returned on time and nicely presented.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel as part of an organised tour. The hotel and room are beautiful. The room was particularly spacious and was quiet despite overlooking a busy road. A card detailing the 7 different pillows available was a nice touch - it even included a traditional jade pillow. The location of the hotel is good. Craft...

In 1994, my first visit to Chengdu and Sichuan, I stayed at the Tibet Hotel partly because of its proximity to Chengdu Railway Station. In late March this year, 2017, I was on a photographic journey of rediscovery returning to earlier locations. With Chengdu I was delighted to rediscover the Tibet Hotel on Renmin North Road - but a very...

We found very good quality and service in this pleasant hotel. it was near shopping and one of the river walk entrances. The city center was a relatively modest cab fare away with mass transit also available. The touch of Tibet was appreciated as we were not traveling there. Breakfast is good
