This hotel is close to restaurants, boutiques, and travel agencies. All of the pictures of the hotel show a guy in a red shirt working hard. When I asked the lady at Sartor "where is the guy in the red shirt?" She answered that he is the owner and that he doesnt work much but likes to be in the pictures. The hotel was clean, except for the dog smell in the lobby. The owner has two german shepards that are always in the lobby. They are very well behaved, but they smell bad. The maids also run the front desk. They do not speak much English, but they always smile and are willing to help in anyway. The hotel is three stories, yet does not have an elevator. Both times i stayed I was put on the 3rd floor. I preferred the second or first because the stairs get tiresome. The third floor is kind of tacky because the decoration is mix and match flooring and pictures that look like they came from a yard sale. Plus the garden up top has old faded in door/ out door carpeting... More

“Try to talk the guy down on the price. If you settle for the rate he tells you, then you paid too much. If he tells you 40 USD, offer him 30 USD. Also, ask for a room on the 1st or 2nd floor.”
