This home is absolutely breath taking. The rooms were as pictured and the location within the wall made our journeys easier. The Amazing: Doris and Oscar were magnificent the food is worth paying extra and the hospitality and professionalism of both made this stay even better. Doris food was better than most of the restaurants we visited (she leaves at...

I stayed in Casa del Tejadillo for two nights in September. It's fantastically located, friendly and comfortable. A nice welcome with lots of helpful advice. The rooms are very comfortable with fans and air conditioning - although not with Windows to the outside as is the way with many of these traditional houses. But there's a large, comfortable sitting room...

After 2 weeks travelling in Cuba we were looking forward to a little more luxury. The room was adequately comfortable but on arriving late at night we discovered there was no hot water. We reported this immediately the following morning and were told there was a problem with the system but they were waiting to have it repaired. Alas, not...

I booked this hotel but in the period I came (august 2015) it was closed. They charged to me the money anyway and they advised I didn't showed up. I passed 3 days in Cartagena and every day I passed to ring the bell but no one answerd to me. AVOID THIS PLACE TILL WHEN TRIP ADVISOR WILL DELETE IT....

I was staying in Cartagena for a longer period so on the first day I walked around and checked out several hotels. This hotel, Casa del Tejadillo, looked quite calm but nice and they had promised me the best room in the hotel next to the swimming pool, for a good price. The following morning, when I arrived with my...

Fabulous location on the historic centre of Cartagena. Lovely pool, super friendly stuff and fantastic breakfast. You feel like one big family around the table. Its a big thing that administrator John speaks also english :) Room is big enough and has everything you need. But they should do something with the smell (old wet smell). Good speed wifi. All...

I searched carefully on the Internet for a nice but still affordable hotel in Cartagena. I was excited about my choice until I got there. We arrived at night when reception does not work so a guy in charge opened the door; he was not rude but barely greeted us. We had the sensation to have arrived to an empty...

we loved the place! in the old city but on a quiet street. Jhon and the staff were very helpful and kind. There were a few stains on the towels and sheets but overall the place is clean and well-equipped with AC, wifi, and delicious breakfast. I recommend it!

My mum and I had a lovely relaxing stay at Casa Tejadillo in January of this year. The hotel itself is lovely and has a really rustic colonial charm, with high ceilings leading to large open spaces. It's quiet, with not a huge amount going on but we found that when you're discovering beautiful (humid) Cartagena all day it's a...

Incredibly central and very safe. Nice family feel to the place and Camila is an excellent host. Breakfast is perfect. Much nicer than a hotel in my opinion. Supermarket nearby and shops are only 5min around the corner.
