This is a small hostel within walking distance of the old walled city and the old Spanish fort on the hill above. There is not much English spoken there but with some Spanish and some English you can get by. The rooms are small but clean and well kept. Bathroom small but is also clean and has all fixtures, no...

In a nutshell, clean enough, cheap for location had wifi and included breakfast. Good if you're a backpacker. We stayed 3 nights, a little overpriced for what you're getting. We stay in hostels or budget hotels quite regularly when we travel. It was $45 for private room with bathroom. Very tight, you wouldn't be swing any cats in there. A/C...

We got here late at night so didnt have much energy to compare with others and we were really disappointed. Rooms were dirty, poorly maintained and noisy. There were even hair left all over the shower! We got woken up by our colombian neighbours who checked in by 5am and Immediately turned the tv on full volume. Staff started making...

I thought the price for a non-air on room was acceptable Ps 55,000 and, first impressions were good. Good quality, crisp bed linen etc. However, the room was musty, which I decided to accept because I could not be bothered to waste more time. Later, I realised that, although it appeared clean at first, a look at the bathroom wall...

This hostal is clean, in a nice location in the Getsemani area. but it is not economic considering the other choices. Anyway you got everything you need here: internet, 24h service, a nice patio to rest after your Cartegena's tours. Nevertheless, next time I will pick something else

The good: -Value for the money was there, getting a private ensuite double in a good location for C$100K. -Room was clean and well taken care of. -Air conditioning was cold. -Location in Gestemani is good with lots of budget restaurants and bars nearby. -Quiet. Not much outside noise, partying, and couldn't hear the street. -Felt safe. Neighborhood was decent....

We stayed 8 nights in a private double en-suite room after the Air BnB accommodation a few blocks away in Getsemani turned out to be a total nightmare. Casona's location is pretty good, right in the heart of Getsemani, close to lots of cheap and fairly good restaurants and bars. The standard wasn't amazingly great, but was the best of...

You can get air conditioned dorms for 25000 pesos, which is a great price in Cartagena. The staff is friendly and there is a cute patio where they serve a complimentary fruit, bread, juice, and coffee breakfast. I've stayed here and many other hostels in Cartagena and this one is, by far, my favorite!

Location great as its in the heart of gestsemani. Staff super friendly but there were stinky sewer works and our ac broke on the second night. Decent rooms and a good communal area.breakfast is average just fruit and bread with coffee.
