The hotel has modern and well equipped rooms and facilities. At Torre del Mar the gym opens at 5am, perfect if your going in a business trip. The business center is perfect for meetings. Also I highly recommend a visit to the SPA, great ambiance, wonderful massages and the water cycle therapy is renewing. Within the Resort there are many...

We (family with two small kids) have stayed at the Las Americas Global Resort (Casa de Playa) on previous occasions and were looking forward to stay in the brand new extension, Torre del Mar. The location of the hotel, outside the main city and with a semi-private beach, is excellent. It's a 10-15 minutes taxi ride from the old city...

New hotel located next to the airport with 10 minutes drive to the Walled city( old town). Hotel has a transportation to the center, but i wouldn't count too much to that. During our 10 stay on this property it didn't run on 3 nights (carnival time) and also at least 2 time when we tried to use it the...

This was my first time ever traveling to Cartagena - and part of the magic that made this vacation so spectacular - was the hotel! We have only been here for 4 days and tomorrow we leave - but I will be back at this hotel. I came to Cartagena to meet my future mother in law, and amazingly enough...

If you're looking for somewhere with luxurious rooms and nice pools you'll like this hotel. However, there isn't much more to it than that. The lobby and restaurant had a sterile, airport lounge feel to them, the service wasn't great , the spa treatments were very expensive and the front desk staff were unable to provide any tourist information or...

Last week we stayed at the brand new 'Torre del Mar' at this resort and it was a really bad experience. The service was poor, the design was vulgar and the food was horrendous. The owners of this hotel wanted the new tower to be ‘world-class’, but they got it wrong. They ended up with a sleazy version of a...

We arrived at the hotel at 11AM and naturally there were no room available for us until 3PM. Check in process was a little disorganized, no defined lines or queue so you kind of just have to wait until there is someone free to help you and push yourself to it. The guy at the check-in spoke good enough english...

We booked our trip expecting to stay in the older side of the hotel, but were happy to hear that the "Torre" side had just opened, so we opted to stay there instead. The hotel was very modern and upscale, and we enjoyed everything about it. The service was wonderful, the rooms were spacious and the hotel was very clean....

I attended a conference held across the street at the small conference center and stayed in the new 10-story tower, which was still under construction. When I arrived it took forever to check in and obtain working Internet, I ended up hot-wiring the Ethernet jack behind my TV. Hot water was absent in the early morning. The pools (including the...
