We absolutely love this place. Had a hostel booked in Gestimani first, but luckily the place double booked us and we came here instead. This hotel is quiet, very clean and the staff / owners are fantastic. We are a 5 minute walk from all of the best restaurants and the "hostel area", but at night this hotel is "muy...

The staff at this hotel is incredible; over the top level of service and really cater to guests' needs. Example: I was being a fussy brat, pouting about how I wanted fruits which were more exotic than those they were serving. Instead of telling me they would pick some up for the next day's breakfast, they sent an employee out...

Wonderful, helpful staff. The owner helped us sort out a missing luggage situation. The rooms aren't fancy, but very clean and simple. The rooftop is wonderful and breakfast was great. The hotel is outside the main tourist area, but in the middle of a lot of more "local" action, which is nice.

Getsemani is the upcoming area of the old town in Cartagena. Very hip and vibrant neighborhood. The hotel is perfectly situated in front of the old city wall. Rooms are basic and A/C works great. Staff is very helpful and friendly, the perfect place for some days in Cartagena.

I would rate this 4 star for the entire experience, but let me be clear this is at best a 3 star quality of hotel. The staff is 5 stars. The selling point of this place is it is in the heart of old city. It is in a very very working class neighborhood. Living in NYC the neighborhood didn't...

We had a wonderful experience here, saying for about five nights in December 2015. We took two rooms for two adults and five kids. The staff were fantastic - they helped us with directions and taxis, and went and bought a crib for us the night we arrived. The breakfasts are awesome. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but we...

The hosts here were absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived. The hotel room was an oasis coming back from a hot and humid day on the streets. Great shower, bed, and tv to relax and unwind from the day. Breakfast in the morning was great as well. Can't recommend these guys enough for your stay here!

We were suppose to stay here for only 4 nights and ended up staying here for almost 2 weeks. The owner and all the staff members were all so sweet, helpful and always made sure we are comfortable and they let us leave our backpacks when we left for a few days to Santa marta. The room was comfy and...

I was overwhelmed trying to find a place to stay in Cartagena. There's so many options and SO many mixed reviews. Patio de Gestemani was a good choice. The staff was friendly, the room was nice and had a really big bed, great wifi connection, and a beautiful patio up top (although I wish they had a pool and not...

The owners were wonderful, super friendly and helpful in this laid back and simple little place. There's a great roof top to have a beer and enjoy the view of Castillo San Felipe de Barajas after a hot day of wandering around the old town. Really enjoyed this part of Cartagena, bit further a way from the hordes of tourists...
