The Charleston is a beautiful hotel centrally located in the walled portion of Cartagena. The location was ideal, and they had a fantastic rooftop with a pool and bar with views that you can't beat. The gentleman that checked us in, Alejandro, was fantastic! He was friendly, helpful and very courteous. Not only did he assist us with our check...

We had spent a month in Colombia a year before but missed Cartagena until this trip.. This hotel represents the essence of old Cartagena. Wonderful restaurant and pool. Our room opened onto the court yard and was perfectly appointed.

They got them a pool that overlooks things. It was cold in the rooms and steamy outside. Took forever to get my camera going. I ate hoppers for breakfast. Loved the coconut and lime drink. Some of my colleagues bought you know what and partied.

This hotel is very well located in Cartagena, within the walled old city, close to everything. The hotel ambience is very tranquil, very classic arquitecture, very open. The building itself has a lot of history, that I invite you to get to know, is interesting, and you get to understand a lot about the space itself. The rooms are very...

Everything was easy here, staff was professional and friendly. We had a room with balcony, very cute. Bathroom amenities were above standard, clean room. Amazing flower arrangements all throughout the hotel. Best thing here is the staff. Excellent location by the wall, easy walking distance to restaurants and interesting plazas. Highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here about a week and I must say that it was one of the best hotels that my wife and I have ever stayed at and we have traveled all over the world. The rooftop pool gives you one of the best views in Cartagena, the service was excellent, a very famous Colombian chef has a restaurant inside...

The hotel, formerly a Carmelite convent built in XVII century has suffered numerous architectural changes and has changed functions after the nuns had to leave during teh republican era.It is now a joy and pride of the hotel elite in the city, used by many embassies. One does not know what to praise first: a colonial style reception, gigantic floral...
