This remains a wonderful hotel in this charming city. We spent three nights there in January and very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was in the small, original colonial wing, which was charming and felt private. The hotel maintains high standards for accommodations and service. You are treated very well, from the moment you check in and are offered...

I stayed at the Charleston Santa Teresa for a wedding that I was at nearby in Cartagena and had an amazing stay. The bathrooms are huge, the rooms large and very comfortable (with direct tv when you want to relax). The breakfast and pool are on the roof which is both beautiful and romantic. The staff is very helpful and...

Our travel agent recommended this converted convent for a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary, and it was all she suggested--and more. Located in the busy part of the old walled city, it nonetheless offers quiet rooms, reasonable meals, and a wonderfully customer-focused staff that made recommendation after recommendation for outstanding nearby restaurants. I really enjoyed borrowing a bike every...

We stayed at this hotel 3 nights in Jan 2017. We booked a superior room and were happy we did as our room had a private furnished balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Our room was quiet, spacious, clean, and well appointed. Spa/gym is on 2nd floor. I had a good massage, US$50 for 50mins. The rooftop is what makes this...

Charleston Santa Teresa is very well located. The employees are very friendly and they will push themselves to make you feel at home. The breakfast is very well prepared in each detail. The swimming pool, although small, has a view you will never forget. We stayed eight nights in the hotel and I will tell you, we only need a...

Hotel customer focus is put at test when you have an issue. I booked this hotel for 5 nights to spend the new year. The welcome was super, the staff very helpful and kind, and status of the room spot on, but the first night was a bit disappointing because the room was close to the air aconditioning machines of...

We were recently guests at Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa in Cartagena, Colombia; part of Leading Hotels of the World (LHW). We were there to attend/compete in the Inaugural Ironman 70.3. We chose the hotel based on many factors, one being that as a LHW, the staff provides the highest standard of quality and distinctiveness to your guests. And to have...

Overall, we enjoyed our seven night stay here. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Room was extremely clean and cleaned in a timely fashion every day. Attentive turndown service. Dinner at Harry Sasson on Christmas Day was quite good though the environment was not especially intimate in the open space. Key cards had to be recoded multiple times (not...

We didn't stay here but we stopped in to have lunch on their rooftop bar. The rooftop is for hotel guests only but we looked harmless enough (dressed nice), and the management escorted up to the roof along with a brief tour of the Hotel and the many amenities. The service, the rooftop pool and restaurant were as spectacular as...
