A city of great conquests and conquistadors wait for you in the magical Colombian Caribbean. We open the doors to a strategic hotel tower located facing the renowned ‘Bocagrande’ beaches, overlooking the Cartagena Bay and combining the modern city with the majestic colonial city. Fun and enjoyment are guaranteed in a Caribbean and Cosmopolitan corner, loaded with history that will infuse you with its everyday tropical and “Garcia-Marquezian” reality. During the day you may visit the historical center with its colorful architecture, its monumental walls and narrow streets. Don’t forget to make a stop at the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, a huge building that has witnessed the heroic Colombian battles. Additionally, an intense night awaits with many emotions with music, shows and an exquisite gastronomical offer that you may enjoy at our hotel or booking a romantic evening at our Café de la Plaza de San Pedro restaurant, located in the best area of the walled city.

This hotel is the worst hotel in Cartagena. Stay away. The rooms are moldy and the beds are super uncomfortable. I don’t know how other reviewers can qualify this place with so many stars. Do not count with the old city restaurant because is impossible to get a reservation. And t

Loved three of the restaurants but not crazy about the seafood one. Hugo is the most amazing waiter and rotates among restaurants but really everyone is good and very ok helpful.

Hello, how are you? Can you tell me what there is to do in the city of Cartagena? Any tours? How much does the hotel charge for Baru trip? What times are offered to go there and come back? Nicole
There are tours but the best way is take a taxi and just walk around the history is fabulous. To go to the Popa hire a taxi her will wait for you it is a must see.The fort I have not been in for me it is too hot but impressive to see from the outside Cartagena is safe to just walk around in the old city. Do your research on Emeralds so you know what to buy they ate good prices lot cheaper than here. The tour to Baru I have not been I understand that the boat ride going over is calm but on the return is a little rough.Youcsn take a tour to the mud volcano that is neet in the mud.lots of good restaurants wine is quite expensive but the steaks are great at Polo Dearborn or Dandies lots of new places opening just go and explore you will go back as I have you can walk down Backahernde at nightlight no problem just go have fun your not stuck on a resort. Hope this is help it is my favorite place people are great.
