My friend and I shared the twin room which was lovely, large, good air con and stylish bathroom. Amazing views from roof terrace, fabulous location. Friendly staff, free coffee and biscuits as breakfast not included

We booked the large room with balcony (called a variety of names depending on booking engine) as the location was super and the pictures looked really nice. I was very hesitant when we pulled up in front in a cab and saw a tiny door with a large metal gate and a rather steep looking stairway. Not a good first...

My partner and I stayed at Calamri before a friend's wedding in Cartegene and really could not have asked for more. The staff on duty were very helpful even through the language barrier that was our limited colombian/spanish language abilities. very centrally located in the historic district with many great historic points of interest, restaurants and bars nearby. will definitely...

I must say I have very ambivalent feelings about our stay in this hostel. The location is indeed the best it can get in Cartagena. Best part of the old town, close to everything. The general atmosphere of the hostel was nice, the rooftop terrace is very pleasant. However, frankly I expected more from a boutique hostel for the price....

Dear Guest We regret that your stay with us was not to your liking, however we would like to emphasize that the room to which it refers is a "simple room 2 beds without windows". We have very specific information in our search engines, that this room has no window since it is internal in our facilities and as they...

My husband and I came to Cartagena to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Calamari Hostal Boutique was a great place to stay - the price point was awesome, the location was great, and lovely rooftop patio. It is important to have at least basic Spanish as none of the staff spoke English, but that's worthwhile to have wherever you are...

The best location, nice accommodation, I thought in my research it was the most cost benefit hostel in walled city. Please choose the private room with bathroom included, is the best I think because you have more privacy!

This is more of a boutique hotel than a hostel the room was beautifully decorated with amazing views. The location is perfect for the old town and overall it is just stunning!! A roof top deck with incredible views off the skyline .. honestly cannot fault anything except the minor issue of our shower being cold. Also special mention to...

We had a wonderful stay at the Calamari while in Cartagena. The location is excellent, in the historic walled city. We stayed at the Calamari on three different occasions during our trip to Colombia. Carolina at the front desk was amazing in helping us arrange travel and tours to other parts of the country. She even helped us out in...

Great location for walking to everything. AC worked great- as it is one hot city! Little noisy at night. I fell asleep instantly as I was exhausted but my sister heard what she said was a club next door. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here.

Dunno where to start, perhaps by the improvement opportunities because they are few and far between: 1. Please have better sheets. CTG is extremely hot, a/c is amazing until late at night you are way too cold. Is nice to have the option to cover up more. On their defense, i never asked for a comforter, just assumed there was...
