Hotel casa del curato it’s in perfect location in the wall city. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. With friendly staff and they include breakfast which is always a plus when starting your day. I recommend to get a room with balcony.
My friend and I just checked out from a lovely stay at Casa Del Curato. Contrary to other reviews, the room was spotless and very spacious- though minimally dressed. The entire hotel was very clean and the true charm was the outdoor seating areas and rooftop. It’s where we spent a majority of our time catching up and enjoying a beer. I will say, if you prefer lush bedding and unnecessary furnishings it’s maybe not the place for you. However, the old world charm and quaint homey feel made it a truly fantastic stay for us. The breakfast was made to order and fresh daily. The staff was friendly and very helpful in calling a cab on numerous occasions. It’s within walking distance to everything within the walled city and literally steps from some of the best restaurants in town. I will definitely be back! …
First of all, the images they post on Trip Advisor and Hotels.com are only from one suite, probably the best looking at the property. The hardest bed mattress I’ve ever slept in my life; it’s really uncomfortably tough (at least for us). Small room (2 ft each way around the bed) with very basic appliances in a pretty bad shape (one AC outlet wasn’t working) Extremely poor (slow) in-room internet connection on the second floor Badly designed small shower: the water flows the opposite way from the drains hole. The poor quality bath towels have had better days. Air conditioning is very inefficient for the room size, complemented with a loud and antiquated ceiling fan. Very basic breakfast but tasty. Good location. Very nice people. Prices on the lower end, but you get what you pay for in the area.…
Me and my family arrived yesterday. We had a nice check-in and slept well. This morning me and my mom looked under my bed, and we found a used condom!!! This is so disgusting.. the room was not cleaned at all.. there were hair in my shower and under my bed.. We asked the staff to clean my room.. and they did.. kind off.. here’s not very clean at all but.. this wasn’t okay at all.. Besides that experience the place is cozy and the breakfast is okay.. the pool is very small. But the location is great...
I spent 2 nights in Casa del Curato. It is a small boutique hotel with few nicely decorated rooms and a nice lobby. The service at reception and for breakfast was sympathetic. Despite being located in the historic area the neighborhood was still quiet enough to sleep. From here it was a ten minutes walk to catch the Hop-On Bustour and participate at a sundown boat tour.
