This hotel has an excellent location, being in the middle of everything. It is right next to the cathedral and within walking distance to all the attractions in the old city. I had a room facing the street yet it was not too noisy. The staff was helpful and allowed me early check-in, something which I really appreciate. The room...

I went to Cartagena with 2 friends for 6 days. We wanted central location without paying a huge amount for a room. This place was just perfect! The location is amazing, close to everything! We ate quite a few times at the restaurant downstairs, very good value for money. The room was spacious and clean, and although the area is...

This hotel is the best value in the old city. The rooms are nicely air conditioned in the Cartagena heat. There are restaurants and bars within a stones throw, there is even a very good restaurant on the ground floor. The location is strategic, almost the heart of the old city. Staff are friendly and efficient. A splendid choice.

We stayed one night here at the end of two weeks in Colombia. It is well located, but as other reviewers noted, anything in the walled city is going to be very convenient -- and there are dozens if not hundreds of hotels within the walled city. This is on one of the louder streets. Fortunately we were able to...

The hotel is very centrally located in the Old Town, and the price is very reasonable, particularly considering the nice environment and more than comfortable rooms. Tips: bring your own shampoo, and if possible ask for a room away from the main street (or bring good ear plugs...).

If you stay in Cartagena, few hotels match the location of Centro Hotel. It´s at a stone throw of most of the Old cities attractions, like the Cathedral, the Clock Tower and the Plaza Santo Domingo. The rooms were a bit spartan, yet clean. There are however, a few things that we were not very happy about: 1. The guy...

This is a bare bones hotel and I expected more for the amount I paid per night. It was clean and I didn't have any issues with bugs but I would not stay here again for the price. I'd spend a bit more for something nicer. Breakfast included a fruit plate, orange juice, scrambled (or fried) eggs, toast and coffee....

Excellent location, rooms are located surrounding an open courtyard. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. But the rooms could be better maintained, especially the showers. I changed room because of a leaking aircon and no hot water. The new room didn't have hot water either. For the price of this hotel hot water is a must even though in a tropical...

This hotel is all about location location location. By going here you are in the heart of old town cartagena and only steps away from the magic. Cartagena is truly magical! The price is fantastic - I mean for that price I dont think anyone expects luxury. The rooms are okay - somewhat wornout but decent enough to stay in....

Cartagena is a beautiful and interesting city, and the Centro Hotel is well-positioned to explore it, and reasonably priced. That's the good news. The room we had was adequate, if not brilliant, but the shower was literally shocking. The shower head had an electrical gadget on the shower head to heat the water, but if you tried to adjust the...
