My partner and I stayed in a private room at Geo Hostel for 2 days on a recent trip to Medellin. We were travelling to celebrate our birthdays (one of which happened to be while at the hostel). The staff were warm, welcoming and thoughtful, even going out of their way to purchase my partner a variety of delicious pastries...

Arriving somewhat bedraggled into Medellin after an overnight bus we were pleasantly welcomed by a fellow bald man with braces and a muscular stature befitting his wholesome breakfast of eggs, arepa (corn cake abomination) coffee and juice (a traditional Colombian classic for a traditional Colombian man). He instantly put us at ease despite the collection of gregarious vest tops and...

This was a great choice. The location being in Poblado was great, about 15 minutes from the metro station (the A line which connected us to most things). The walk to the station was down a populated street past parque lleras and there are a ton of bars and restaurants in the area. Our double room was comparable to a...

The private room is like a hotel, it is very clean and fancy, it has a pretty roof as a social area and the breakfast it is really good (it consist of a typical Arepa with eggs and coffee or tea). The personal is helpful but not very cheerful, and also I would chance the tvs and get a bigger...

After a loud hostel in Cartagena, I was ready for some quiet. Geo Hostel was a little TOO quiet for my taste, but I can't complain too much. The wifi wasn't that great, especially on the computers available upstairs, but breakfast was free and tasty, the hostel was very modern looking and clean, and had a perfect location (close to...

I really liked Geo Hostel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. A good, free breakfast. The rooms were pretty warm but they had fans to help with that. Good location. Nice patio. It's not a party hostel, but there were always people who wanted to go out and explore so it never felt dull...

This is a brand new hostel in the perfect location. The beds and pillows are the most comfortable in 4 months of travelling and the bathroom is the cleanest most modern that I have come across on this trip. Most importantly the staff are pleasant and extremely honest! I left a pair of $400 headphones behind by accident and when...

I am not much of a hostel person nowadays so if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of hostel life take my word with a grain of salt. It is your typical, run of the mill, latin american hostel for the most part. My issues with it stemmed from many of the comments advertising it as a quiet place to...

2 English girls staying in GF dorm next to kitchen We stayed at this hostel after leaving 35th Station hostel (next to Happy Buddha). It was such a relief!! The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were spacious as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen is big and well equipped. The terrace is lovely and common area is very open,...

Stayed for two weeks at Geo and had a great time. It has comfy beds, burning hot showers, a kitchen with all the utensils you would need and a fridge which dispenses ice and drinking water. The cleaning staff are excellent and work really hard to ensure the place is spotless. Breakfast is included. This is not a party hostel...
