We stayed for 5 nights and could not have been happier. A great room on the beach with a fantastic view. Everything you need on site but an easy walk to other bars and restaurants. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Great restaurant. A wonderful relaxed feel to the whole experience. Try it.

Stopped here for lunch of the back of Lonely Planet guide. The view onto the beach was stunning and although the place was busy we got a table right on the sea front. Food was ok - we went for prawns and lobster - all fresh but in comparison to other places on the island not as tasty. Service was...

We had a wonderful stay at Miss Elma. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the bed is comfortable and the staff is really nice, but the best is the view and the beach. The breakfast could be a little bit more fancy.

We stopped here for lunch after diving with Sonny and it was a good choice. We had fried fish (pargo) and it was so big we could hardly finish. Tamarindo juice was delicious. Missed the coconut rice, but otherwise a great spot right next to the water for a relaxing afternoon.

First and foremost, the warm and helpful staff go a long way to make up for some of the hotel's downsides. The staff always gave great advice, were attentive and arranged some wonderful tours. The rooms are spacious, are kept clean and have adequate air conditioning and a refrigerator. The hotel is well located. Downsides: bring your own soap. There...

I recently visited Miss Elma with my boyfriends and a group of friends, and I must say that I was extremely impressed with the service, services offered and the room! We booked several island tours through our contact at the hotel, who spoke decent English. The staff were always happy to help out with numerous requests and the location was...

The best thing about this hotel is the location on a delightful beach close to a pretty little village. The island itself is absolutely delightful and a must visit. Internet is virtually non existent you are here to relax! This hotel was quite basic Bathroom below average with a broken shower and no hot water! Lunch was good but breakfast...

We had three nights at this hotel but wish we had more before we moved to Hotel Miss Mary. Although the decor of the rooms are in need of updating, they are very very clean and very comfortable. Great shower and the most comfortable beds of our trip. The hotel is right on the beachfront, slightly set back from the...

I have just had a very relaxing 10-night stay at Miss Elma's. In going to Providencia you can't expect the Hilton but that wasn't what I wanted anyway. Miss Elma's is a small guesthouse, I think there are just 8 rooms but some of them are Huge!! Mine had a double and two singles, just for me. It was kept...

the rooms of this guest house are probably the best in Fresh Water Bay, very clean, newly refurbished, lot´s of space and "split air conditioner" (not common in Providencia as most hotels provide the noisy wall units) the bathrooms are well done and the rooms have sea view although the tinted glasses do not allow a real free view! there...
