A really nicely built resort with pretty, quite luxurios and clean cabanas... BUT: - so close to the street that it is really loud at night (and we've had the cabaña that was the farthest away from the road) - the food was really disappointimg: fish, mixed veggies and even patacón came from the deep freezer, and were topped with...

A beautiful situated eco-hotel located just a 5 min car ride or 15 min walk away from one of Tayrona's entrances. The owner Wilmar is the friendliest hostel owner you will ever meet and will sort you out with whatever you need. It helps if you speak some Spanish, but that counts everywhere in Colombia. We went tubing (saw monkeys...

We stayed two nights at Ecohostal Yuluka as a gateway to Tayrona, Santa Marta & Sierra Nevada del Santa Marta. The grounds were gorgeous, as individual cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and a pool. The dining area has hammocks which look out into the distant hills. Meals were a particular highlight, as the cooks prepare delicious local dishes and...

I stayed 2 nights at Yuluka with my wife and 3 kids. It was such a great place. It is totally relaxing. It is a very special place and you can feel that they are proud of their place. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The drive to the entrance of Tairona was included and Nellys gave us great tips....

I really enjoyed my stay last november there. The staff is really nice, there's a wonderful view of the forest and the mountains, and some hamac to lay in front of the landscapes... It is really close to Taganga and the Parque Tayrona, I think this might be a good basis to start your trip in one of these two...

I wish I could spend two weeks at this place. It was spotless, very pretty, very quiet (okay, the road is a little noisy, but won't ruin your time there), very scenic, the folks who own it are incredibly nice, the cabins are fantastic (with all these natural stones and materials incorporated in), the lack of internet (ok, you can...

Yuluka is really a great place to stay, We stayed only one night but everything was prefect. The rooms are huge ( with a massive 2x2m matress!!) and everything is made of rocks. The water comes by the river, and all around you is so calm and full of nature - the atmosphere is really amazing. Nice pool and really...

I only had one night at Yuluka, but I really liked the hostel and the staff working there. At the time of my visit it was only two guests staying there, and I had the dorm all for myself ;-) The dorm is big, there's lockers for each guest and a bathroom - other than that a big terrace, where...

We stayed three nights. The place and the concept are cool, but the result is not exactly what we expected. The main road is very near and you listen the trucks and cars from the room, when you supposed to listen just nature. Hammocks and rooms are nice but you don't have to expect luxury...you are at jungle! We liked...

First of all I would like to start with the positive things : I have to say that this is really a nice place. A beautyiful exotic garden, nice and big rooms if you book one of the private rooms. A valuable price for room and breakfast. ( Approx 20Eur per person) The food is good and they make a...
