We stayed one night because the rooms were very hot and there were countless mosquitoes. There was also a cockroach in the shower (which also flooded the bathroom floor when using it), and the dog on the premises kept dragging his butt across the floor. Positives? The people who work there are nice, and it's close to the waterfront area...

We stayed at this hostel for one night as part of our trip to Punta Gallinas, we get there by car around 11 PM and there was a 24 hour parking lot nearby. Its location is very central and is really close to "san andresito" and many bank offices. It is a big old colonial house very well maintained. The...

Staff is very nice and helpful, rooms are spacious, and breakfast is pretty good for Colombia. The rooms are VERY hot though. There are only ceilining fans, so unless you can handle super hot nights, I'd find a hostel with AC. Neighborhood directly surrounding th hostel was a bit sketchy- a women got mugged at 8 in the morning directly...

Rooms are spacious with ceiling fans. One of the bathrooms has poor drainage due to the way the floor tilts, so there's a puddle whenever someone showers. Good wifi, okay breakfast, and friendly staff. Beach is just a couple blocks away.

After trying to get to the Tayrona park with no luck, we were in Santa Marta looking for a place to stay the night. Every hostel was full and I couldnt remember the name of that lovely hostel with the nice people and the lovely kitten I stayed at one year ago. Then I did! I rang and it was...

Although this is one of the cheapest hostels in town, it is still too expensive for what you get in return. The mattresses are of bad quality, there is little ventilation because the fans in the room can't be moved around since there is just one set of electricity plug inns. Also breakfast is really poor. We brought our own...

This hostel was much cheaper than the rest and so far has been the cheapest hostel I have stayed at in Colombia. The rooms have high ceilings, new beds and linens, and the bathroom is big enough to move around and the sink basin is separate so people can brush their teeth while someone is showering. There was a free...

Many review that I read about the hostel say that the location is very good....... I don't think so! Is in one of the three worst and dangerous streets of central Santa Marta! You can hear breaking bottles around the corner, junkies and dealers all around. The hostel is ok, a nice welcome drink, nice breakfast and the dorms are...

We spent 5 nights here after planning to only spend one, because it was by far the best compared to everything else we looked at. The hostel is simple with just dorms but has everything you need plus more for a nice easy stay eg welecome drink, great breakfast, nice staff really friendly, laundry service, locker room for bags, good...
