Casa Celtica is a small but very comfortable place to stay conveniently located in Santa Marta. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and linens. The owner lives in the building and the public areas are nicely furnished and the housekeeping is excellent. The breakfast was very good with different juice blends prepared fresh everyday. But the feature...

We only had a night and a morning in Santa Marta, but Gwendoline made sure we used it well, and was full of help and advice. Close to the centre but peaceful, Casa Celta is a three room hotel with some nice outside space, and full of interesting artefacts from Gwendoline's days as an antique dealer.

Wonderful home, great location - within a few blocks of the town center, on a quiet street. Our room had everything we wanted – comfortable (firm) bed; very clean; excellent wifi connection, air conditioning and fan. Gwendolyn, the owner, prepared tasty breakfasts including a variety of fresh fruits and juices. Most crucially she helped us with everything – from advice...

This is for August 2015. I came here with my son who was 9 at the time. When I booked online, the website didn't say no children under 12 allowed or that the fee had to be paid in cash to the owner in Colombian pesos. But luckily, Gwendolyna, a lovely French woman who owns this quaint B&B, was very...

It is a small hostel with a very friendly French woman working there alone. It is a perfect place if you are in Santa Marta to explore in daytime and get good inside tips from the owner. If you are in Santa Marta to party there might be better options for a cheaper price. The beds are very clean and...

Nice small bed and breakfast with three rooms. We stayed two nights, the private room with bathroom is really pleasant, beautiful furniture and very comfortable bed, AC and fan, we slept very well. Gwendoline gives a lot of good advice for Santa Marta and the area. Walking distance to the main place.

Close to centre but away from noisy bars. Only 3 rooms so very homely feel with great outdoor space, garden and small rooftop terrace. Lovely French owner, she could not have been more helpful. Breakfast quite basic but nice. Would definitely stay again.

We were welcomed and taken care of by a great hostess in this comfortable and charming colonial house. It's a small hostel, so individual service is provided. Large bed as well! Located near the beach and all the nice restaurants, coffeeshops and clubs.
