Close to centre but away from noisy bars. Only 3 rooms so very homely feel with great outdoor space, garden and small rooftop terrace. Lovely French owner, she could not have been more helpful. Breakfast quite basic but nice. Would definitely stay again.

We were welcomed and taken care of by a great hostess in this comfortable and charming colonial house. It's a small hostel, so individual service is provided. Large bed as well! Located near the beach and all the nice restaurants, coffeeshops and clubs.

Gwendolynae's B&B is on a quiet street within easy walking distance of downtown along pedestrian streets. She is incredibly freindly and helpful and speaks english, french, and spanish. The rooms are perfect for a couple with AC and ceiling fan. The coffee and breakfast are excellent. We were very glad we booked our stay there.

A lovely colonial house in Santa Marta, a stone's throw from the shops and supermarket, but on a quiet side street. The owner is a delightful French lady, who has renovated this house to it's current great standard. Rooms have aircon and a ceiling fan, allowing you to sleep well. Breakfast is tasty, and bathroom has good water pressure, and...

I felt very comfortable from the moment I stepped inside Gwendoline's house. This is a great place for any discerning traveller. A spacious bedroom and shower. The house is a wealth of good taste, a lifetime of choice, the history of Santa Marta and a local guide who's knowledge stretches to the ends of South America. Merci ma Gwendoline

I was traveling through Santa Marta with my 16 yo daughter. We loved staying at Casa Celta not only because the place is quiet, well located and lovely but also because our host, Gwendoline, really goes out of her way to help travelers staying at Casa Celta and pays attention to detail. When she recommended a service (in our case...

Fantastique! A too brief stay at Casa Celta, with lovely, charming host, Gwendolyne, who provides everything to make your stay welcome. Rooms are arranged along an open courtyard, where small bistro tables await you for breakfast, set with real napkins, and antique Christofle silverware from Air France - wow! The renovated traditional house is filled with Asian antiques, and updated...

We enjoyed Casa Celta. The owner is very welcoming and helpful in explaining where to go in Santa Marta and how to take day trips to Tayrona. Rooms were clean with good A/C and bathroom. There is a pleasant place to sit both inside and outside. Location is very convenient to center of town. Owner speaks French, Spanish and English.
