We absolutely love Golden Nugget! The restaurants are great and when we want to go on a date night we travel almost 2 hours and we are there and you really never have to leave especially if you get a great parking spot! Can’t wait to come back for our date night! We went during Covid for our first time and everything was safe and clean!
Very poor customer service, the bar/disco only had one waitress whom wouldn't even serve a single drink after waiting for over 40 minutes, her best excuse was we were not seated by staff which was a complete lie, she made us feel as if our money wasn't worth a thing.
Been here 3x and the High Limit Room is always dead with less than 5 people playing machines if that. Not sure where all their "so called" big jackpot winners are on their site but I definitely did not hear any bells or whistles ringing with jackpot hits. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Golden Nugget for not having looser slots. How do they expect people to return when the payoffs are extremely low. I won't be returning.
My sister and I came to AC for a quick getaway and outside of the housekeeper the expert was poor. When we first got to the hotel for checkout we stood on line after a long drive for 24min as there was only one lady at the front desk checking people in( it was 12am so maybe they were short on staff). The entire floor our room was on smelled like marijuana in the non smoking section. Additionally, our room was freezing cold and the heating system was not working. We had to call the front desk to ask someone to repair it. It could not be repaired so they gave us a space heater. FYI, you are charged a resort fee of $22 a night which includes “ the pool and fitness center” according to the front desk associate. When we went to the fitness center we were told we had to pay $10 to use the facility. Needless to say, the fitness center is not included in your stay. Furthermore, we could not sleep because our neighbors were extremely loud and to add fuel to the fire smoked weed all night! This hotel is awful. I’ve stayed in AC a number of times and have had better experiences at Days Inn! Never again. Take your money elsewhere.…
Reg rooms are in major need of updates. Not clean, furniture is showing heavy wear, bathroom tub extremely hard to get in and out of and the entire hallway reeked of pot and it was a non-smoking floor. I love the restaurants on site especially Chart House but I wouldn't stay overnight any longer. I like the casino it is small and the selection of games are very good. Its time for the owners to invest some money into this casino - it has a great location and the only casino with a marina in AC. If you want a nice room stay over in the Spa Tower Rooms they are the most recently updated.
