A few steps off the boardwalk is a gem of Atlantic City. When you walk in it's like going back to the 1920s. The atmosphere is fabulous. They have daily specials and simply the best corned beef sandwich I've ever had. For lunch and under $5 you will get this melt-in-the-mouth sandwich along with their great service. Couple this with...

No trip to Atlantic City is complete with out a stop at the Irish Pub. The building that houses the pub and hotel was built in the early 1900's and remains one of the last links to that bygone era. More a living history museum than a luxury type hotel, it is a step back into history. The pub is...

My husband had the meatloaf (the special) was served with gravy, mashed potatoes and corn, all luke warm, tasteless and I believe it to be a frozen dinner, no good. I had the Reuben, very average, the fries with gravy and cheddar cheese was the only item that was served hot and not bad. The place had a lot of...

We were walking the boardwalk and saw a man carrying a sign and handing out menus. It was only a block off the boardwalk and turned out to be a gem. Friendly people, live entertainment, neighborhood bar atmosphere, great food, little giftshop. Far better than any of the touristy traps in AC.

Went on a Tuesday evening with a group of 5. The place feels a little tired, as you walk in on carpet. Um, carpet in a bar is never a great idea. Dining room was a bit better than the entrance with a pressed brass-look ceiling. Let's start with the highlights. The beer was cold and crisp, with some good...

Was here recently for a friend's wedding and overnight stay. Old world charm and affordable, as well as close to the boardwalk. Be aware that this hotel is turn of the century early 1900's so it's not for everyone. I would definitely avoid staying the really hot days, but great on the wallet and senses (unless you like elbowing your...

This place was so cute! My husband and I stopped here on a quick trip to AC. We didn't plan ahead and just booked the first place that had a vacancy close to the beach. I read some reviews before we got there so I was prepared. Its very old but very charming. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We...

Love the Irish Pub. Right off the boardwalk on St James. I ordered the Sandwich and salad which is Pork Roll and Cheese and an Oriental Salad. Iced tea was fresh and my boyfriend ordered a beer. The sandwich was tasty and the wait staff friendly. Cash only but food is a great value for the price. Can not go...

Recently stayed at the Inn of the Irish Pub. What a cute place! Grant it may not be every traveler's cup of tea, but I really enjoyed it! This place was built in 1900 and I would imagine if the original guests could come back they would find very little has changed. Nice antiques in the lobby, my room had...
