It was worse than staying in a homeless shelter they never brought the pillow I order 3 TIMES I CALLED OVER AND OVER . No coffee or creamers in the room it was worse than staying in motel 6 . Even after calling and requesting the pillow they never came
Room very uncomfortable + constant cold. Room Service the pits: very limited and extremely shortened menu. Restaurants: very limited number not that good and mostly fast food. Looking to be just a little pampered---forget it?? Try Days Inn.
My renovated room was gorgeous, there was no noise from the neighboring rooms, and the view couldn't be beat. Unfortunately, none of that made for the lack of other services. There is no room service - only "delivery" from a very few restaurants with mediocre food. One Starbucks with a twenty-minute line. If you're staying here for a conference, you really have limited food options. Also, the casino smells like weed.
We stay at Harrah's in the off season mainly for the pool, normally we stay at Caesars. Tropicana as a last resort for the beach and boardwalk. This was a huge dissapointment, the room was decent other than the clock would not work and we gave up trying to get it replaced. We found out there is no more housekeeping, as there was a few months earlier at Tropicana. The worst thing was the Pool, we went at the opening time and found it was so dirty we were shocked, Garbage, cups floating, bandaids, hair ties, algie, glitter, fake fingernails etc.... We were told there was a party till 4am that morning, I tried to clear a path for the wife to swim she declined. I went in the only remaining hot tub and got out when I stepped on something. We tried again the next morning and nothing was done to correct it other than the cups were gone from the pool, I cleared most of them the day before. Another day of no pool. I complained to the manager he offered me $40.00 in food comps which we needed like a hole in the head we both had several hundred dollars in our comp account. If there was a party till 4am why was the pooI not cleaned at 5am they had no reason. I called several numbers they provided and never got a return call. Going again in April 2023 hope its better for a long time Diamond member, after that we will be staying at Caesars on the board walk for the summer. I hope this is not a norm, otherwise Ill be at MGM next winter and spring.…
walls are poorly insulated and you can hear the next room people talking at normal level. had to call security twice to calm the people next door partying at midnight. room service was absent, spent three nights without any room service, had to call house keeping to get few towels for the bath.
I booked my room months in advance for a conference and received an email early morning on my arrival date to check in online. Which I did. It said the earliest check in time was 2:00. No problem. Stood on the long (about 30 people ahead of me) precheck in kiosk line to find my room was not ready at 2:30 and that I would receive an email when room is ready. 6pm still no email, so I got back on the long line (about 20 people now). The extremely rude clerk said not only is my room still not ready, but the tower I booked (near the conference) was sold out. She wouldnt do anything for me, but advised to come back later. I asked to speak with a manager. Rude girl came back to now say she would check me into a room on the other side of the hotel. Again I asked for a manager. Finally, the manager gave me the room in the newly renovated Waterfront tower that I booked. The room was filty. As soon as I walked in, saw finger prints on the mirror, cheerios on the floor and plenty of debris on the carpet. This room was clearly not vacuumed in a while. What is the point of asking guests to precheck in? At 8pm after I'm already checked in, finally received the email that my room was ready. Thank you for nothing. Harrahs is a dump and the employees dont care. I only stay due to conferences held here. Do not make a choice to stay in this dark dirty, dingy property. Also around 1pm on a Thursday, no place opened for lunch except a burger only deli. No thank you.…
My room was well worn out along the edges of furniture, chairs, etc., and the room had very low ceilings. The sheets had permanent black marker stains on them. At no point during check out, or later, has Harrah's asked for guest feedback - that should tell you something about the level of concern they have for guest satisfaction.
I was here for a business conference and not for the casino. The casino is a bit dated, especially the arrival experience at Self park. The new waterfront hotel tower is great. Nice large rooms with beautiful views, and comfortable beds. Went to the spa, and the mini massage was very worthwhile as you get a 30 minute massage, and access to the pool, which they would otherwise charge you for. Pool area is kitschy, but nice in the winter as a sunny oasis. I would stay again since the waterfront tower is so nice with her easy access to the conference area. Food at the conference was good too!
Here for a conference and had booked my room over a month ago. Tried to check in 3 separate times through the kiosk. After 4 pm and my 3rd attempt at the kiosk, I tried to get help from an employee who directed to one of the 3 lines that were formed in the lobby. After waiting on line to use the kiosk, I then waited about 15-20 minutes in the 2nd line. When I was finally at the desk, the employee refused to help me because he said I was in the wrong line (despite the fact that one of his employees had sent me to it.) I was instructed to get on another line. After 30 minutes on that one, I was finally helped, although it was not the room I had reserved and paid for already. There were maybe 30 or so people on line and they had 2 people checking them in. 1. Don't direct people to the kiosks if they won't work for people. 2. Have more people working when you know a large conference with hundreds of people are checking in. 3. Train your staff to help all of their customers--sending people away from a desk and having dozens of people waiting in your lobby for hours is not a good look for your hotel. The room was nice and very clean. The conference space and the food we had was great. Do better with your front staff and their level of hospitality.…
Stayed in the Atrium Tower Suite. Construction noise starting in the early morning maybe 7:30 AM, sounds like drilling, on and off for the entire morning. Double check your order at Starbucks, they were very busy, gave me the wrong sandwich.
