Hi All I don't normally write a review but you all need to stay away from this place if you have kids. I stayed there for with another family 5 adults and 4 kids. We stayed in the North Tower, 3 separate rooms. First you have to pay $20 to check in before 4pm even if your room is ready. We did that for one room because we had 4pm dinner reservations and was told that the rooms will ready by 4pm and to use the kiosk. Well the kiosk was broken. We make our way down to get the 2 additional rooms after 4 and only 1 was ready. So I have to pay $20 to get in before 4pm, but there is no guarantee your room will be ready after 4pm! Don't forget the hidden fees you pay even after booking online, an additional resort fee and taxes $33.00 per room. They put us in the North Tower and 2 out of the 4 elevators were working. So every time you wanted to go to your room you have to wait on a 15 min line for the elevator. Then in one of the elevators someone spilled a drink and that floor was sticky all weekend. YES no one cleaned the elevator! On top of it all we were on a NO SMOKING floor, but the entire floor reeked of pot! It was so bad that I bet I got a contact high just walking to my room. So no smoking means nothing to them. BEWARE. Also at 3am until 5am our neighbors threw a loud pot party. The smell of pot was so bad I came home and my clothes smelled of pot. You also should know that if you have hot water, you are one of the lucky ones. The machines don't pay out. SO if you have hot water you are considered a winner. Also if you are trying to leave the hotel to get to the garage you have to wait on line for about 20 minutes to get on an elevator to the garage. If you can stay someplace where they clean, cater, fix and enforce their rules.

North Tower is horrible. There were gnats in the bathroom and it looked like our floor hadn’t been updated in years! Also, the sanitation procedures are not up to par. We asked for the room to be disinfected and they brought up febreeze.

Just like almost everyone I was home bound for a little over a year. My husband and I decided after we both have our shots that we would get away for just a weekend, more or less like dipping your toe in the water to see how we do. We stayed at the Tropicana hotel, the hotel was very nice and everyone there was very helpful and welcoming. There are a few restaurants that aren't open yet but it doesn't take away from the area because there is still many restaurants there and along the boardwalk. There was so many things for us to see and do there, of course the ocean was the biggest attraction for us The biggest let down was our room. We stayed in the Chelsea Tower. Now I gather that is an older tower but that shouldn't make a difference, for the money you pay you should have a great place to stay. I have stayed in at Comfort Inn and Suites and was happier then this room. First walking down the hallway was a smell of warm rubber and marijuana , in our room carpet not in best shape. There wasn't a small table or chairs to sit or eat at, there was a very old stuffed chair that was at least 10 years old. No place to put to plug in a laptop or cell phone. Bathroom had a glass partition for shower but the bottom had rust stains. The the sink vanity had strips that had been ripped off but instead of replacement they just painted over. Truly wish we would have stayed somewhere else for our first time out.

The food is very good @ Broadway Burger. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The pretzel comes with 3 dipping sauces, honey mustard, cheese and spinach dip. All 3 went well with the pretzel and my turkey burger.

This is place is an ABSOLUTE DUMP!!!!!!! I wish I could give it a 0. The garage felt unsafe. Walking through the place didn’t feel much better. 4 security guards were congregating- chit chatting away. 4 police officers outside of Wet Willie’s. The clientele is certainly not Hard Rock or Borgata. The room is NOT AS advertised. It’s old & dilapidated. There was no care taken; crooked lamp shades, old 70s chairs, ok’d air/heating system, old bathroom. Old, old, old everything. Curtains dirty. They slapped a coat of paint (& it wasn’t a good job) on the walls & a tv and I guess they call that renovations. My husband & I keep looking at each other. Totally disappointed. If I wasn’t exhausted, I would drive home and they can keep the money. The Econo Ledge next door is probably better than this place. Tropicana should be ashamed. Every hotel major in AC has updated. Did they not get a PPE Loan? Accommodations will make or break your trip. This is a break. Horrible way to celebrate my anniversary & Mother’s Day. It’s going to rain tomorrow, can’t even relax. Glad I brought the LARGE can of Lysol. I will never stay here again.
