I found this hotel by chance as we have been trying various ones on the shore, prices are in line with others and for the quality of the hotel, pricing is good. Also there was no minimum 2 night stay over the weekend. Check in was easy, so was parking across the street in the municipal parking. The room was...

Stayed in this hotel with the family and a friend over the 4th of July weekend. The hotel is nicely located not far from Seastreak ferry stop that takes you directly to Manhattan. Room was average... but clean...

We spent one night at the Blue Bay Inn in early July and it was a surprisingly nice experience. Booking was seamless via TripAdvisor/Booking.com even with a change of our dates and a revision of the reservation. We travelled for a short getaway to the Sandy Hook area for the beaches and a bike tour through the historic military installation...

Situated on a lively road in Atlantic Highlands, Blue Bay Inn puts you near the water and at the heart of an artsy, casual village. Outside, we appreciated the open courtyard, which was set up for drinks and dinner on Saturday night. Inside, the lobby was comfortable and equipped with two Keurigs, a cold server of fresh water and a...

If you want to enjoy the water, good seafood, a safe and simple bike trail without big crowds--even on a warm June day--then Atlantic Highlands might work for you. I know my Jersey friends (I was visiting from CT) said that the area was known as sort of an odd stepsister to the cool parts of the Jersey Shore and...

Room was very big-parlour room. Needed a larger room for a pre-wedding gathering. This fit the bill! Staff was very helpful and courteous. Beds were comfortable. Coffee in the lobby in the morning was great.

I chose to stay overnight, as an alternative to the dreaded airport hotels near the Newark International Airport. I do not regret the choice. Atlantic Highland is a nice maritime neighbourhood on the South shore of the lower New York bay, overlooking the Brooklyn skyline, less than one hour drive from the Newark International airport. The neighbourhood is quite, the...

A lovely "old world" type of building in this pretty part of the new colony. Huge room which was very clean. Usual american refusal to supply drinking water free. $5 for a 33cl bottle or medicine dose sized plastic containers at water fountain in reception. Bar and restaurant was closed when I was there ( 24-25 Dec) No parking either....

Two minute walk to the ferry to Manhattan. Several good restaurants right next door or across the street. Very comfortable bed and I was pleasantly surprised how quite it was even though my room was on the front or street side of the building and right next to the elevator. My only negative would be the slow wi-fi but it...

My husband and I recently lived at the Blue Bay for almost 4 months while our home was rebuilt. The staff was amazing, thoughtful, could not do enough for us; the hotel is clean, well run, beautiful and quiet, a little jewel. Despite it being a very stressful time, thanks to Pam and her staff we felt so well cared...
